Cathy served as a divorce attorney and also helped with my mom's estate, when she learned that she had been diagnosed with terminal cancer. Cathy remained professional and comforted my mother when dealing with her legal battles, as well as fought to help my mother in every way possible. When we lost my young mother in the summer of 2012, Cathy still rallied for us and helped us in every way she could, knowing our situation. My sister was about to turn 18, and I in my early 20s, and this was clearly a situation we never expected to handle ourselves. She also shed light on things that we needed to take care of and without such insight, our mom's legal issues would have been a mess. I should also mention Josh that helped Cathy with our case(s) and was also helpful and responsive when we came to them with questions. We sincerely appreciate the help of Christoff and Christoff attorneys and will forever be grateful for making our tragic situation that much easier. I will recommend Cathy for as long as she is in practice!

I only had two months of payments left. I was excited to get things done. one month later I called to check on the status and she assured me it just takes awhile. three years later I have to return to court because she is no longer employed. how that is my problem is beyond me. sounds like management should have cleaned up her mess. a phone call or email would have been nice. now instead of a dollar amt I can budget my paycheck hardly allows me to pay more important bills. I called and the lady assured me it was pending and nothing she could do. I kindly explained how unfair it is that their mistake is costing me and not even the amount of money but also interest. she said she'd speak with the lawyer and I never got a call back. shocker!

She basically laughed at me in court, was friends with the other party prosecuter, and critically talked me into just taking a plea instead of moving to trial as I had requested multiple times due to me being innocent. Which may not sound bad but it was for someone who was so young, innocent, and was their first time in court. She didn't take me nor my case seriously. She sat and talked about her child the entire time before court instead of the case and what was about to take place. Safe to say, years later I am still living with the mistake of hiring Elizabeth as my lawyer.
