There is nothing I love more than taking a few minutes out to relax and get away from the stress and struggles of urban life.
Nicolson Square was refurbished in 2008 to provide an urban santuary for workers, students and shoppers alike.
Unfortunately however Nicolson Square does seem to be a congregation point for a certain group of people who sit around all day drinking Frosty Jack's, and I have seen on more than one occasion people enjoying the sunshine being hassled by inebriated people.
Nicolson Square does have the potential to be a real gem for the South side of Edinburgh, but seeing as the meadows are so close, this would probably be a better relaxing point. read more
