Peter, the owner, acted like I had committed some crime against him. Instead of saying I'm sorry we made a mistake with your order ... he got mad and made me very uncomfortable. He took his anger out on the girl that was serving us, Even more recently I asked again for baked lasagne. I asked for my side Caesar salad to come first as my appy because I didn't want it on the sizzling hot plate with the lasagne. The poor waitress got yelled at and wasn't allowed to serve me a salad first. In the past 2 months we've had stale ribs served to us. Soup that tasted lIke flour. Buffalo chicken wings that were so spicy they were inedible. The list goes on. The quality is low. The prices are far too high and the portions are puny. Travelling home on highway #6 and stopped at the Harvest Place Restaurant in Raymore last night for…read moredinner. All four of us agreed that it was the worst restaurant meal we'd ever had! Two had the potato bacon soup of the day. It had oil floating on top and an uncooked, floury taste. Next came the breaded veal cutlets with gravy and fish and chips with gravy. Again, inedible. The breading on the cutlets was mushy and the gravy had a floury, pasty consistency. I had the appetizer shrimp in a lemon, wine sauce. It too had an odd flavour. The menu said it was supposed to come with pita bread, instead they subbed toast. The four meals cost $80. That's with no alcohol, just two soft drinks. I felt sorry for the waitress having to serve us those inedible meals. I think she must be used to it as she didn't seem surprised that we sent most of our meals back uneaten. Didn't even ask why. If I could give this place negative stars I would. I don't like giving bad reviews, but I would certainly hate to see someone else have the same dining experience as we had. I also hope the restaurant owner sees this review and makes some serious changes.

The Caesar salad is delicious and you get a plate of various types of bread as an appetizer. The lasagna is a favorite and the fettuccine is also very good.
