We went specifically to get a plum tree. We got a lovely shaped specimen and were given good advice about planting and pruning. The chap we were speaking to also recommended a couple of jasmines and we bought a few annuals too. He kindly tied up the tree and helped us into the car with it. The creepers and tree have really taken hold in our garden, thanks to the good advice, and are growing nicely this year. We're hoping to make another trip out to Thompsons later this summer.

The shop area houses a large range of garden furniture, water features, books and gifts as well as a large range of house plants including orchids and some exotic species. I didn't even wait a single day to call them and booked a lawn mowing session right away. The gardener showed the next day, he even got there 10 minutes earlier and considering it was around eight in the morning I guess he was just as excited as me. He got right to mowing and when I went out and offered him a glass of water as it was really hot that day we started talking. It tuned out that he is a pretty nice guy. Later the same day I realised that he had left without leaving any document of a kind behind so I had to call them back and request a receipt. It took them a couple of days to bring it but I got the receipt at the end. All in all I can say I am pretty satisfied even though there was the problem with the receipt. I think I will check their landscape gardener out, my friend has been bragging about him so he must be good.
