Before my husband proposed, my friend told us we had to go see Nick. We had looked at engagment rings at all of the big stores (Zales, Kay, etc) and we were not super impressed with anything - some of the stuff was really beautiful but really overpriced. We went to see Nick and the experience was totally different than any jewelry store we've ever been to. Everyone that works there is super nice and they really make you feel like a valued consumer. No one tries to sell you anything, there's no pressure! You point out something you like, or tell them what you're looking for, and they show you what they have or what they can do to get you what you want! The store is in a shopping mall and it's a tiny little shop at the end by a laundromat, but he has a lot of beautiful pieces. My husband took my sister there to get my engagement ring and Nick did a fantastic job! Since then, we've gotten our wedding rings there and now we only shop there for jewelry. When we purchased my wedding ring, Nick personally showed me the rings that he thought would go with my engagement ring and as expected, he picked out one that I never would have thought of, but it fits with my engagment ring perfectly! Almost like they were made for each other! They have someone on site that does repairs for an extremely reasonable cost (my husband's watch needed a new battery and a new crystal and I think the whole thing cost about $25). Whenever I need my rings cleaned (wedding and engagement) they just clean them, no charge. And, the best part? Nick generally lets his customers pay for their jewelry in monthly payments. No fees, no credit check, no set payment day or amount. Come in when you can and pay what you can. Granted, he doesn't let you walk out with your jewelry until it's paid off, but if you really want something and don't have the money up front, he's pretty flexible about letting you pay for it over time. I will truly never buy jewelry anywhere else. read more

went there years ago and they were wonderful. Two years ago, they told me a repair was turned down because it was not worth it for him. today I went with my daughter who needed so minor repair and a battery changed in her watch and was turned down sort of rudely. I DONT THINK THEY WANTED OUR BUSINESS. THEY ONLY CATTER TO ONLY ONE KING OF CLIENTEL. read more

The owner and staff are very friendly and nice, but the problems became more apparent after I got home. I examined the prongs with a jeweler's loupe and found that they are not smooth--I can see visible scratches on them, which is why they feel rough and scratchy. They even catch on things like tissue paper. I don't know how to take a picture with magnification, but I will try another jeweler to fix it, as I don't want to risk the prongs scratching the stone. read more

Went in to get a tennis bracelet sized and the owner looked at my wrist and new exactly how many links to remove without even taking a measurement. and suggested making earrings out of the diamonds from links removed and I didn't even think to do that. Fantastic idea!! Wouldn't go anywhere else!!! Thank you very much!!! read more

Went with my sisters boyfriend to pick out an engagement ring. As soon as we showed Nick example pictures he immediately had a ring to show us. He customized to what we were looking for and was very comfortable to work with. The details in the ring were beautiful and everything was exactly how we wanted it. Nick was also able to restore the missing diamonds in my grandmothers wedding band that my sister will be given. Her boyfriend proposed yesterday, and she LOVED the ring. I would highly recommend Nick to anyone and will go to him with any of my jewelry needs. read more

Nick is very helpful and reasonable. Always looking to satisfy his customers. Wouldn't take my business to anyone else.

Nick and Melissa are wonderful. They are patient and generous. I wouldn't go anywhere else. Don't mess with expensive mall stores or other snobby shops. They are honest and will help you with anything you need. If you have costume jewelry pieces you don't want or need, bring them to Nick. He gives them to a challenged man who sells them at flea markets. That is the kind of man he is. I would go NOWHERE else and neither should you. read more
