However, there was no easily accessible bin for you to empty your boxes in or leave your tray as per the usual McDonald's system so people were leaving them on the tables rather than go searching for one. I was advised there would be a wait for my choice of burger and many other people were being told the same which seems a bit odd for a 'fast food' joint. The food is standard McDonald's, that never varies. I rarely visit McDonald's these days but my companion was in the mood for a Big Mac so I went along, but I wish we'd had a sandwich at the nice little pub we'd been in earlier rather than visit this particular branch.

Sheelys offer good food for cheap prices and have an incentive scheme that is also good value. The sandwichs range from the cheap and cheerful to the more adventurous and if you can't see but they have the ingredients there are more than happy to make it for you. Added to this are perfectly cooked baked potatoes and a changing menu of hot meals such as Pasta Bake and Chilli. The staff are very friendly and though they like a chat they will not keep you waiting. A must visit for a perfect lunch.

The staff are friendly and the service was quick though this could of been because it was quite early in the day. The only negative I have is that compared to other Sandwich shops in Lancaster it is a bit more expensive.
