I was walking out when a stocky, heavyset blonde employee started aggressively tapping on the window and screaming I had to pay, I nicely told her I paid with exact change, and she insisted I didn't, I told her to check the cameras, she refused and dropped it, saying she didn't know I paid, when she was working the register next to the man I paid with. It's a small shack that if there is more than three people in line you have to do a little dance so the next person can get in. I don't smoke, otherwise I'd have it more figured out and have a place to go. However, I do pick up cigarettes for my mom and she's been paying 12-13 for a pack, why pay that with Indiana right there? So I took a ride to find something off 41, because paying four bucks to take the skyway is only for a sissy or someone with more money than time. One star for cheap gas, which I didn't buy and another for being friendly. Cash only for cigarettes unless you want to give them your DL#. I don't mind having them look at my DL to see that it's me, the mug shot photo taken by the State of IL does look somewhat by me, that and the fact that if they were to swipe my CC it wouldn't be declined as stolen. But no, she then tells me she's going to write down my DL#, she then points to a sign printed out by an inkjet printer on a plain sheet of paper. Hmm this makes it official, now doesn't it? If it were a letter from the State on letterhead, displayed by all establishments, okay then maybe there are some controls on how this info is stored or disposed of. I tell her no thanks, I'll come back with cash. I noted that there was a Walgreens right up the street and most of them have Chase ATM's so I'll go there to get some cash. While there they had signs displayed that they sell cigarettes at the State minimum price, okay I'll just buy them here. I was able to use my credit card without showing my DL, like a regular joe. If you're coming out from Chicago for cheap cigarettes just skip the shacks and go to Walgreens. Better yet, just quit, but that's a whole other topic. Knowing about this State minimum pricing is interesting, and they publish it on the web. No links in reviews so google it

ATM fees are $2.50. They have multiple pumps which hardly see use, or at least that's what I think when I'm pulling up. (Where are the customers?) Candy and gum novelties are pretty cheap, I picked up a roll of life savers the other day and got change back from a dollar. Something you don't see in Chicago.
