I spent a few hours attending Mass, and visiting the sanctuary and the different little chapels. The gardens with all the Saints statues and the flowers are awesome. There are plenty of benches to sit and linger in prayer and thought. The Shrine is beautiful, serene, peaceful. The shape of the chapel is a dome, with the statue of the Virgin on the very top. One can climb by side to the top. The dome is decorated like part of the world. North America, Caribbean, Europe, Asia. The Faithful is a representation of the world map depicted on the dome

There's a Buddhist Cultural Center just by Paderwski and Fillmore. New. Nice Welcome sign. The statue is new as are some smaller ones near it. The building is an older one but looks to have had some window work done recently. They are doing some landscaping here too. And fixing up the back wall. This looks to be a nice addition to the neighborhood. There's some parking here, street and lot.

The preaching was spot on, straight from the Word. The worship was excellent - so many gifted people. I love the way it looks in the sunlight. It's not old or gothic at all, it's a very pristine, flowery, odern looking church, which really shines in the sunlight, as I said. It's brand new-looking but it's still got a lot of class and style and grace, and is a lovely sight at sunset and sunrise. I've only been inside it once, during a walking tour of Williamsville this past Fall, and it looks brand new and smells fresh and clean (like most of Williamsville does). I like going inside churches, but I admit I do prefer the old ones, such as in the UK and across Europe.
