Lakeside Family Dental in Burlington is the best dental office I have ever been to…read more I am a senior who has been to many dentists before. I have always had an issue with local anaesthetics not working very well. I also have Rheumatoid arthritis and Fibromyalgia, so I have issues with pain and flare ups after dental work. BUT, I have to say that the services I received at Lakeside Family Dental were excellent. The hygienist was wonderful and gentle, as was Dr. Mathew. For the first time in my life the local anesthetic worked perfectly. I didn't feel any pain at all. The anesthetic wore off quite quickly and I was not in any pain afterwords. The procedure did not cause any flare ups of my conditions. I have already recommended them to family and friends. Dr. Mathew is the best dentist I have ever had.

I recently put up a false scathing review in retaliation to a perceived slight. Included was an…read moreimage of a badly damaged tooth. The image was is no way associated to any work performed by anyone at this office. Far as I can tell a 3rd party messaging service was to blame for the ignorance, however the apology did seem disingenuous. When I inquired about dental work I got a quick response then when it was proven I had little to no money for it, I was ignored. Even just for advice on how to go about finding a dentist that accepts assistance for a legitimate emergency dental problem. I can't say for sure if the dentist knew or not but I'll give the benefit of the doubt. Either way, leaving the responsibility of patient communication with a service as shaky as that, suggests poor judgement. Just sayin...

It was obvious he was trying to set me up for expensive treatments. NOT recommended!

Initially, I went to Highland Dental due to a referral for implants. For a variety of reasons, I've…read moreyet to get any implants but I've had a lot of work done on my teeth at Highland Dental Center by Dr. Srokowski and Sandra (a true dental artist!) and the team. Years ago I had a front crown done by a well known dentist in Burlington. The backing was made of a solid black material AND it was slightly crooked. It looked awful. They told me there was nothing they could do about it to improve it's appearance. As I had since moved to Hamilton, I went to a new recommended dentist on Upper James. Altho they did some good work over the years, they also said that there was really nothing they could do to fix/replace that front crown which would be any better. At that point, some of the adjacent teeth were looking dodgy as well. Dr. Srokowski and his 'dental artist' Sandra, took a look and said he would replace that crown with a white one which would be strong and look so much better. He also offered to fix the adjacent teeth as well. I was a tad leary but very excited. I'd looked at that horrid crown for a long time. I can honestly say it limited the amount of smiling I did. Over the next couple weeks I had many appointments, some of which were efforts by Dr. Srokowski and Sandra to achieve the 'perfect' colour and fit for my new crown. Then the adjacent teeth were fixed and all look amazing. Dr. Stokowski and Sandra took real time and effort to get it just right, sending the crown back to the lab to adjust colour of size as needed. It's been a good six months since I had the work done and I am just so pleased with the results and grateful. I should warn you tho....this is a busy office with a zillion things seeming to go on at once. At first I thought it all sounded like a lot of confusion and was very different from the quiet serene atmosphere I'd experienced at previous dental offices. I soon learned that it all works well and the high activity can be a welcomed distraction. I would highly recommend Dr. Srokowski and his dental artist "Sandra" along with their friendly support team. Karen C, Stoney Creek, On
