However, within minutes, any of these feeling were completely forgotten and it truly shows in the finished product. The pictures were better than we ever could have imagined and Trish managed to make the entire session enjoyable - even my husband would agree, which is no small feat! She even managed to capture some adorable shots with our very squirmy and uncooperative little dog. We had our hearts set on capturing our engagement pictures in the snow, which had seemed like a good idea in theory, but we were left questioning ourselves with temperatures well below freezing on the morning of our engagement shoot. Trish was a fantastic sport and never once mentioned the cold, and even helped us forget, capturing the gorgeous pictures efficiently, but never making us feel hurried. We had the same experience with Trish at our rehearsal dinner, where we didn't even notice her taking pictures throughout the meal. She delivered them to us very quickly (especially in comparison to how long I've heard it typically takes for many wedding photographers) and we could not be more thrilled with the final product. They will get to know you and your family, a sense of what you would like the session to be, find the perfect setting, and the rest is just magic. Whether you want a family session like we did, wedding photos, professional headshots (which we also got), or a photographer for an event - QH will bring their "A Game" wherever there is a skilled photographer needed. They are able to deal with adults who can't be photogenic (like us), kids, pets, and most likely unruly adults. Their methods are top notch and you never feel like you are being bossed around during the session, more like a collaboration between the pros and the subjects. We got a more than adequate session for the price, and the location was picked based on what we were looking for but at the suggestion of the coordinator. We met in Boston Common and traversed most of the common and gardens with our dog, 90 minutes in total. The team was energetic, focused, and very professional with how we grouped shots and areas so we didn't have to go back or waste any time. It was one of the most efficient shoots I've done, which between weddings, family sessions, etc. I probably have 2 dozen sessions under my belt (the quality of the photos due to the subject are questionable at best :P). We had a list of shots that we wanted to do, but the real value added by the team were the suggestions and shots that have worked with them in the past in these familiar locations. The turnaround time on the photos can vary depending on how many edits you would like, but the team is constantly in touch and giving updates on the estimated delivery of your photos. Ours was a little over 2 weeks, but we were not in a rush and the wait was well worth it. Pricing is competitive and beyond reasonable for what you get. We paid a flat rate that was ~25% of another quote we got, and I will be honest - I was worried about the differences in quality because of the significant difference. Those worries were put to bed as soon as we had the session and received the "sneak preview" through Google Drive (their storage and delivery method). As you can see in the attached pictures, we are beyond thrilled with the results. I couldn't have asked for a better experience, team, or price than what QH brought to the table. They are now my go-to recommendation for photographers and we plan to use them again and again in the coming years. I can't recommend them enough between the overall process (initial contact, quote, session planning, location selection, session, sneak preview, and final delivery), the skill of the team, and the value proposition. They may just be growing their business right now, but I've worked with lifelong photographers who don't have as good of a process or product as QH. Highly recommend - 5 stars, 11/10, A+++
