At 11:30, Tre messaged me to say he was delivering materials to a job site and that he would need to reschedule. He didn't even have the courtesy to call me in person! I wasted half of my day just to be stood up by a company that apparently doesn't care about their commitments or their customers. They say that they "Work with your insurance company", but that is far from the truth. Instead of meeting with your adjuster and showing them the components, they just go based off of the adjusters inspection. So, therefor, all of your roofing components will not be replaced as it needs to be. They absolutely refuse to replace Step flashing, counter flashing, and apron flashing. The exact words from the General Manager, Paul Lessee, "The insurance isnt paying for it, so we arent either!" So, with that being said, instead of doing your roof the right way, they cut corners. Flashing is a HUGE part of your roof! Flashing is a safeguard against leaks around walls, chimneys, dormers! Once your roof is done, if you have any issues with it, good luck getting them to come back out to address these issues in a timely manner. Once they get their money from you and your insurance company, they fly away in the wind. PLEASE BEWARE! There are plenty of other REPUTABLE roofing companies that you can call!!! Please stay away from Jeff Home Improvements!!!!! Picture added is for proof of them wanting to "Reseal Step flashing". People, you cannot reseal step flashing. They had put on the previous roof 19 years prior so we called them. They said insurance should cover. Our insurance company was difficult, barely covering. Jessie from K & P kept up with us, checking for matching tiles on the roof (they didn't make them any more, no surprise), he had existing tiles tested, insurance co gave a little. Jessie told us KY laws have changed and suggested we complain to the state Department of Insurance. He walked me through my complaint and shortly after the insurance company came back with a large settlement. We had the roof done a few weeks ago and the workers did a fantastic job -- replacing all bad wood, checking with us making sure we were satisfied. I highly recommend this company.
