There are a lot of things in life you only do once or twice, and the first time doing it can be a huge learning process because, well....it's your first time. A wedding, raising a child, buying your first home, picking your pokemon go team, etc. Well, going through your dad's home and preparing it for close of escrow is one of those things. THANK GOODNESS there are companies like Grasons Estate Sales. Initially, I reached out to my realtor to get their advice on what to do. They said they could help me find someone to just literally dump everything in my dad's house. It would have costed me $3500 to do so. But I thought that would be such a waste, as I wanted to sell or donate as much of the items as possible. That's where Grasons Estate Sales came in. Initial consult, they came through and looked through the home, explained their process, and gave their initial impressions. They come in a couple days ahead to prep the home...put up some tables to line up your items and stuff. Then, they run the estate sale in your home for a couple of days over the weekend and take a % of the sales. Then, they (optionally) can dump everything you don't want. Or, you can arrange something yourself. You just pay them for their time/labor. Essentially, you are using the proceeds from the sales to help offset the cost of clearing out the home. Turns out, I came out slightly ahead after everything was said and done! Imagine having to try to sell items by yourself. You know how flaky those Facebook marketplace people can be. It would take literally weeks/months to sell items yourself in the time Grasons Estate Sales took. So much time and headache averted! I'm totally satisfied with the job Grasons Estate Sales performed. As I mentioned earlier, I was out of town, so by the time the estate sale happened, I was already gone. So, we communicated via text for everything, and their PM, Sunshine, was on top of things to send me progress photos and receipts of the sold items. Oh, and they were honest enough to even tell me they found $7 in one of my dad's drawers, and returned that to me! Really chill and honest company. Couldn't recommended enough!

They first tell you they need access to your property for about a month and that nobody can go in there or be at the sale. Then they bring five cars of people that take all your most valuable things. They tell you that they sold it for pennies on the dollar and they keep it themselves to sell at a later time. They make thousands and thousands of dollars off you. They do not even keep an inventory of your stuff so you have no idea what was taken. They go in your house every single day and steal things that they can put on OfferUp and sell without you, even knowing about it and pocket the money. There is a place in hell for these people. The most evil selfish people you can ever imagine and trying to hide behind the name of God makes me sick. I hope I'm gonna help somebody not suffer the heartache that I did and the financial loss that you will surely suffer. They tell you they put your stuff on their auction site that own and run . They start their auction prices at a dollar no matter how much the items worth it could be worth thousands. They only run the auction for four days so that enables them to steal everything that you own and buy it for pennies on the dollar to later self for a profit for themselves . You can tell them the stuff that you want to keep and then they sell it anyways. They also charge you a 30% commission on anything that you want to keep. You must read their contract because you're signing over everything you own to them .They start their auction at a dollar no matter how much the item is worth, and it only lasts for four days. I can't express in words how much I suffered and cried for all my mom's things that they stole. All they do is lie to you and tell you everything you wanna hear but none of it's true. The state sale that they say they're having is not even open to the public only open to their friends. They can buy your things for pennies on the dollar and bulk for like $20. They pocket most of the money and tell you it only sold for a little bit And tell you that your things aren't worth what you think they are. They have no idea of what things are worth, I had a whole room of stuff that I did not want sold and they went in there and sold all of it. I asked him about a gold chair that was in my mom's room and she said she has it back in our warehouse so I can imagine what she has in her warehouse. Everything that you own. My mom lived in a 1.5 million house in San Dimas. She had a ton of beautiful treasures that these people just stole from her and me. When the so-called fake estate sale is over, we ended up owing them money. They do all the stealing legally because you signed a contract essentially gave them everything you owned. They tell you they are donating things but really are selling your things on offer up and pocketing all the money. They run their little auction site that they own and put on their website that they also own. All of your items are only listed for only 4 days and start every bid at $1 even though it could be worth $5000. This allows them to steal your valuable things to sell them at a later date for full value. They tell you that you do not know the real value of things. Please don't let these people take advantage of you. The contract they have you sign is you signing over all your rights of ownership to them. They are heartless people who will prey on your sorrow. They sell everything on offer up so there is no record and they pockets thousands of dollars without your knowledge. I had to go through the trash and found my baby book and all of my family's photos in the trash. If you want to keep anything they're gonna charge you a 30% commission to them to keep the things you want to keep. Their contract is written To charge you astronomical prices. They even went into my mother's front and back yard and took every potted plant and dug up others leaving a Hugh mess. They are licensed to be a cleanup company, not an estate auction. They have no respect of your loved one's home or possession's . They broke so many valuables and threw away all my family pictures and even my birth certificate and baby book.

When I asked for a bill of sale or even a basic receipt, the owner refused to give me one. Instead, she handed all the paperwork to someone else who picked up the car--someone she appears to have a personal relationship with. It seems the bill of sale may have even been issued in his name, despite me being the actual buyer. When I followed up and asked her for a copy of the bill of sale, she told me to never contact her again, accused me of being "crazy," and then claimed she no longer has any record of the transaction because she deleted everything six months after the sale. That is not only completely irresponsible but raises serious concerns about the legitimacy and legality of how she operates. This was not just unprofessional--it was shady, hostile, and possibly fraudulent. I've been left with no documentation, no proof of purchase, and no support whatsoever. Stay far away from this business. Do not trust them with your money or your property.
