Jane Norman is a unique ladies clothes shop with a lovely selection of original, well designed…read moreclothes. They are a very girly shop and predominately offer items with a certain floral theme. You'll be hard pressed to find a item that isn't pink or have a floral theme, it is possible however. Selections can be quite large depending on the size of the store, with offerings such as jumpers, dresses, t-shirts, cardigans, going out tops, pajamas and jewellery all with that little Jane Norman Touch. The clothes are always very pretty and you'll be proud to wear them, one example I could offer could be a turquoise and black number covered in a design made by glitter. I wanted to buy it as soon as I set my eyes on it and can say I have never found anything like it in any other fashion shop. Prices are high street but can quickly mount up especially if you're buying several items at once but it's worth it!

I have never really been a fan of Jane Norman, I found it very expensive for what you're getting, however after a recent shopping trip to Maidstone Jane Norman I had a little look and I found lots of lovely bits, and all reasonably priced too. The store is not massive, but you never feel there isn't a lot of room to look around. Jane Norman doesn't just sell ladies clothes, they sell lots of lovely accessories, including belts, handbags, fashion jewellery and sometimes night clothes, but I find those only out around Christmas time. I have had two lovely leather handbags from Jane Norman and they are great quality and look more expensive than what they actually are. The staff in the Maidstone store are very friendly and helpful and the store is always kept in a very tidy condition.

I am a great lover of any Primark store, whatever it may be. However I think the Maidstone store is…read morevery good. It is located at the other end of the High St, near Woolworths, is set over two floors. The ground floor is mainly women's clothes and accessories, and the 1st floor is home to men's clothing, children's clothing, home ware and shoes. Every time I visit the Maidstone store it always appears to be very tidy and well organised. I hardly ever see items of clothing left on the floor for a long period of time, and it is all nicely presented in the shop. The staff at Maidstone are very friendly and helpful and always on hand to help if you need a different size when trying on clothing.

I love Primark! Granted, the children's section is upstairs, but there's a good sized, quick and…read morereliable lift. At weekends it can get a little frantic, with clothes being left on the floor and on the wrong pegs by people changing their minds with what they've picked up, but there's always a few members of staff doing their best to keep on top of the situation. I've always found the staff to be fine, polite and helpful if a little stressed! The range of clothes is great. The adult clothes can be a bit funny on sizes (no two size 18s are ever quite the same) but they're so cheap and provided you try them on first it's not really a problem. The kids clothes are great - bright and colourful and easy to mix and match when one of the little cherubs gets pasta sauce down the top from one outfit! Personally I think the clothes are very good quality for what you pay, and my 1 year old is still wearing clothes that were bought 8 years ago for my eldest and have been on my 3 year old as well! I find they wash just as well, if not better than some more expensive items, and if something comes home from nursery with orange poster paint all up one sleeve it doesn't really matter!
