Next Level Martial Arts has been part of our lives and our two boys' lives since they were babies. I started fitness kickboxing class four or five months after having my second son and lost all my baby fat within a month or two, got my body back, and felt great again! About a year later, I transitioned to Muay Tai Kickboxing and worked hard to have the honor of getting my yellow belt. Two years later, I made the transition to Brazilian Jui Jitsu to broaden my abilities more and am proud to say after a little over a year later and a lot of hard work at least three days a week, I received the honor of my fourth stripe last month from James Terlecki. I don't know what the future holds but I do know that I wouldn't be as strong, confident, and well-balanced in life, self-image without Next Level and feel blessed every day to call them our extended family: myself, my husband, (Blue belt in BJJ), my four year old son (yellow belt in Little Ninjas), and my three and a half year old son (just earned his white belt in Little Ninjas). I wanted to do kick boxing in highschool but my dad said that isn't what girls do. So here it is 15 years later at the age of 30 and a friend asked if id do 3 fitness kick boxing classes w her at next level martial arts in Austintown. I was really excited to finally try it out.To say i fell In love w kick boxing is an understatement. My first class was intense and I was throwing every Punch Wrong but I didn't feel stupid or uncomfortable the trainers there are patient and extremely knowledgeable for any questions that I had and still have I I feel like my success is their success.After my 3 sessions were up I was excited to sign up for my year membership they have morning and night classes which really works for my crazy schedule it's not hard to fit something that you now love to do into your life.I'm so glad i came and cant wait to see what my future holds for me now that ive started something so new and so different to who I thought I was. read more

I brought the Groupon so that my boys could try the class and see if they liked it. We just finished the second week of a 6 week trial program and my children enjoy it immensely. My youngest son was recently diagnosed with ADHD and he has trouble staying focused on one task and also behavioral issues. In the short amount of time that he has taken the class, I have seen him get excited about going to class and also seen him actually focus on instruction and behave. He is being taught self esteem, team work, encouragement, self discipline, physical fitness, respect, and of course, martial arts all at once. It is always clean and no foul odors that one might expect. The cost after the promo ends is not bad once I break it down to a per class price and I will have to cut costs in my life to afford this for both children. Next Level Martial Arts is an amazing place! It all started with kickboxing classes. Here I found awesome instructors and kick-butt classes that are fun and challenging. One year later, I am trying out Muay Thai Kickboxing and Brazilian Jiu Jitsu. While I am new to these martial arts fields, I am finding coaches who are both extremely knowledgeable and exceedingly patient. Every class I attend pushes me to try harder and most importantly, to believe that I have what it takes to succeed. This has become more than just a studio I work out in; the coaches and fellow students have become my motivation to keep reaching for my fitness and health goals. A great place for a child to learn discipline, patience, hard work, listening skills and bully defense. My son looks forward to every class and we've been members for close to a year. The staff is knowledgeable and eager to teach. My only regret is not registering him sooner. Kids can be mean and my son is so tiny I feared for him when he started school. These classes have given him the ability to stand up for himself if it ever becomes necessary and that gives me peace of mind that I cannot put a price on. He strives for his stripes and has become so patient and focused. He always had to win at games or he threw a fit regardless of his punishment. That's gone. My son is 5 and has been going here for a year and in that past year I have seen improvements in him I didn't think were possible at such a young age. He loves it there! The atmosphere is great. I considered myself in good toned condition, as I work out 3 to 5 days a week, but after my first class, I really broke out into a sweat, I love the whole body conditioning U receive from these classes . I can't wait till it time to go again. read more
