I don't normally bother with leaving reviews but this is one truly fantastic room which I feel is worth the money and time to explore. My lil group visited this place today doing both the Blitz room and the Ex Libris room. We pretty much did both rooms back to back with a small break in between the two. Blitz is a really good "15-minute brain wake up call" before going into Ex Libris, truly recommend doing both rooms if able.
Both rooms were wonderfully put together and the puzzles were all different enough that you don't feel like you're just repeating things, love the balanced mix of high tech puzzles and low tech puzzles. A special kudo to all the hand made puzzles, the craftsmanship and details are fantastic and all the puzzles worked flawlessly.
Having done other rooms which has been highly recommended by other very experienced players, I have to say this is one of the best escape rooms I have experienced thus far. It is definitely one of my Top 3 escape rooms in Sydney - in fact, I am so impressed I can't wait for their new room to be ready.
The rooms are very well put together, the theme of both rooms were excellent and all the puzzles/clues fitted very well with the themes, which made it very easy for us to be absorbed into the game itself - adding points to gaming experience. Another thing which added points to the gaming experience was the brilliant way the game masters interacted with us during game play, the way clues/prompts were given made us laugh while not giving away the answers to the puzzles - understandably this method may not work with all themes but it worked great here and deserves a special mention.
At the end of the game, I was left speechless and breathless at how much I enjoyed the game. I have no negative feedback at all - which is rare for me as I usually find something to pick on. The puzzles really do not have things to be picked on. The game masters were kind, passionate and willing to take in our comments/feedback seriously, I also appreciate how they were willing to explain the puzzles afterwards when we asked about certain details. I think I especially love that they also enjoy playing escape games, hence trying their best to make it an enjoyable experience for everyone who go to their rooms. read more
