I made a big mistake when I decided to use this mob.
The accountant I spoke with was Lyndon Russel, who at first seemed to offer fresh ideas for our business but unfortunately turned to be nothing short of a fast-talking scam artist, whose original quote of $4,500 - $5,000 quickly ballooned to over $20,000 within the first year he was commissioned.
I did pay up after he and his lawyer associates (who conveniently reside at the same offices) started legal proceedings against me with which I had no time or inclination to defend.
In short, this guy left us with our finances in shambles and made an absolute mess of everything he laid his hand on.
No jokes, this guy turned into an absolute 'bitch' after we sacked him.
He even refused to hand over crucial paperwork from our file to us after his sacking, the spoilt brat.
Thankfully I had my previous accountants at Locmans take over our affairs again and they soon ironed everything out for us.
I'd have to say that working with 'real' accountants again was an absolute pleasure after what that 'one-armed bandit' had put us through.
If you feel you ever need to change accountants I'd advise doing a little research on them first in order to avoid having to deal with another rogue in the trade.
