I had rats in my backyard. Stephen came out first to assess the situation and made an appointment to come back the following week to do the work. The guys that came set traps and gave advice on how to keep my house unattractive to rats compared to anywhere else (as in: STOP FEEDING THE BIRDS SUNFLOWER SEEDS IN THE BACKYARD, RATS LIKE THEM, TOO!) No, they didn't really shout or even make me feel guilty, it was just a real "doh!" moment for me. Then went over every inch of my home to plug any possible way for the rats to get inside the house. They decided to make a covering for the outside crawlspace entrance to make sure no critters could get in that way, either. Made an appointment for the next week to do that. Eroldo arrived for that job. He brought all the materials he needed with him including a rip saw, hinges, screws, wood, and a paintbrush. Right before my eyes he made a cover that fit into the opening like a glove. He placed hinges on it so it swings upward and two locks down low on each side at the bottom. I dug out a cupboard pull knob from my garage that matches the hinges and locks which he installed that (so I wouldn't have to pull it open by grabbing the locks). At every step and before finalizing anything, he showed me all the options about where the hardware could go and let me pick the placement. I feel compelled add this thought: unless it has an opposable thumb, there isn't a critter alive that will be able to get into that crawl space via that avenue! When it was finished, he asked if I had leftover house paint. He carefully taped over the hardware and applied TWO coats of paint. I almost took a picture of the taping job because even it looked like a work of art, what with him carefully slicing the edges off right up to the side of the hardware. There was not one minute where I felt he was rushing the job because he had somewhere else to be. He even took the time to feed my annoyingly noisy dog a few treats so she would stop her infernal barking. The finished product looks GREAT! Shoutout to NextGen and a special thanks to Eroldo. But here's where the story takes a positive turn. Today, Eroldo Olivas visited to reinstall some spikes that had been knocked down from our windowsills. Not only did he address the spike issue, but he also took notice of the persistent bird problem in our yard. His understanding and thoughtfulness in installing the required spikes without additional cost to solve the problem were truly appreciated. Despite a couple of bumps along the way, we have recommended Next Generation Pest Control to several neighbors, and we continue to do so. Unfortunately, I have to update my previous review after several years of satisfactory service. During my last service, the technician arrived and knocked on my door to let me know he was there. Less than 10 minutes later, I received a text asking me to rate his service. This was peculiar, as I had asked him to spray my garage, and it seemed improbable that he had sprayed my entire house in such a short period of time. I went outside to inspect, and I saw that he had missed an entire side of my house. I checked my cameras to confirm this before calling the office, less than 10 minutes after he left. When I called, the receptionist insisted that the technician swore he had sprayed the entire house, despite me pointing out the obvious area he missed. After contacting her supervisor, she asked me to send the camera footage. I politely requested that they simply come back and respray, but she insisted the supervisor needed the footage "so he could take the proper action" and told me that the earliest they could reschedule was next week with the supervisor present. I agreed initially, but after considering the situation, I decided to get quotes from other companies and ultimately switched providers. When I called to cancel my service, the receptionist asked why, so I explained why, only to be told that I should understand their technicians have limited time, especially in the heat. It's unfortunate that after many years of no issues, a small problem couldn't be promptly fixed. This experience eroded my trust in their service, and it was disappointing to see the issue redirected toward me rather than resolved efficiently. read more

I got a quote from Next Generation Pest Control for the simple job of covering entry for pest to get into my house. Upon reviewing this scope of the work, it seems like they are not expert in their work. And they even tried to sell me unnecessary work that I don't need. Needly to say that I declined the quote bi-monthly service. It thought it was a joke that wrote in the paper that I can trust them and their service. I found the following writing just full of BS. I cannot say enough good things about the level of service, flexibility, and timeliness of Next Generation Pest Control. I have a daughter in a nearby city attending college encounter an ant problem in her apartment that the complex's current pest control company could not contain. One month into service and called NGPC to let them know I am seeing ants again in the backyard flower beds. Seems there were seven different trails coming from the fence line. Of course... all neighbors use pest control services, and they came to my property eventually. I need to transfer a big plant to a bigger pot, but I noticed ants in soil. Not any more!!! Ryan has been our Technician for the last year and I have to say he does a great job. We have several dogs and he is very good about respecting their space. He is very good about remembering my preferences, as far as the spraying in areas where my dogs live. He also is very friendly, clean and on time.
