My daughter attended TLC for three years, and during that time, she was cared for in a warm, nurturing, and educational environment. Ms. Caroline is truly kind, compassionate, and dedicated, and her team shares the same commitment to helping children thrive. Thanks to their efforts, my daughter was well-prepared when she started transitional kindergarten (TK). She was already familiar with her ABCs, colors, shapes, and many other foundational skills, which made the transition smooth and stress-free. I'm also incredibly grateful for the friendships we made during our time at TLC. I met amazing fellow parents--some of whom my daughter and I still see and spend time with regularly. Thank you, Ms. Caroline and team--you are truly awesome! I highly recommend TLC to any family looking for a safe, loving, and enriching daycare experience.

We've had great experiences with all the teachers that have been watching our daughter so far, but Cecee is absolutely amazing and in our opinion goes above and beyond- giving us advice and regular updates throughout the day. We've had our daughter in daycare for over a month now and while it hasn't been the smoothest because of her eczema and initially teaching her to accept the bottle, my husband and I still think she is in the best care with Cecee and the ELCA team so far. Will continue to update this review as time goes by, but so far, we would recommend ELCA.

All of the teachers are warm and caring. They are very mindful which classroom each child is in depending on their developmental milestones. They will move them up when the child is ready and always are willing to have a conversation about it if a parent feels differently about anything. They are amazing at keeping up with healthcare recommendations, especially enforcing vaccination, which I greatly appreciate in this era. They are very transparent about any infectious outbreaks that are happening so that parents are aware for each individual classroom to be on the lookout for symptoms in their own child. They use dojo to communicate so that we can see pictures and videos of all of the great learning and fun that our children are having as well as to send messages to the parents. They celebrate all of the national and international holidays, which makes this daycare, especially culturally inclusive. I love the diversity of the teachers and the children, building a wonderful social foundation for my children to experience while they have been here from three months all the way through five years of age.

My son started in the summer program right as he turned 18 months and immediately began progressing in all areas at lightning speed. Ms Ana, Ms Noelle, and Ms Luisana were always super patient, supportive, helpful, and attentive. With their guidance my son blossomed so much and before we knew it they recognized that he was ready for the 3-6 year-old classroom, which Ms Ana helped him transition into with ease over the course of a few months. We now absolutely LOVE the structure and discipline that Ms Hina and Ms Adriana are providing in class with their academics that pairs so well with the freedom and openness to explore and express. That's the beauty of the Montessori system - it follows the child's pace and interest while still providing the nonnegotiable fundamentals of academics. It might not suit every family or child, so I would highly recommend attending one of the school's Journey and Discovery mornings where you can get a chance to walk through the classrooms, meet the staff, take lessons from the teachers, and learn about the Montessori approach and the school. As a child psychologist I know how imperative a love of learning is for a child's long term success (emotional and physical wellbeing, as well as their ability to achieve their own personal goals). Not only does SMS foster this in their students, but the entire staff work together wonderfully as a team to also create opportunities for children to develop self-help skills and emotional intelligence. Ms Ciara, the director, has always been so warm, approachable, and communicative. You can instantly tell she loves each student and cares for their success. Her along with Ms Arlett and Ms Poly, the administration, are attentive, responsive, and oh so very kind. They are a dream team that leave no stone unturned for each student. The collaboration I have experienced with all members of staff has reassured me that we all have the same goals in mind for my son (and daughter who will be joining next year). Finally, the community itself of SMS is a beautiful one. Although most parents work full-time, there are many opportunities throughout the year during different events and celebrations that the school puts together for parents to connect. It's also wonderful to get to see our son interacting with the other students and teachers - we love getting to watch everyone mingle like a big family.

The classroom activities are wonderful: they learn about plant structures, animals, seasons, and so much more. Ms. Heather's enrichment classes (cooking, music, phonics, math, etc.) are a huge hit -- our boys look forward to them every time! And so I did, because every School has its own policies. Took me a couple of days for them to give an appointment for following week. Today I went there and Teacher Amanda made me fill all basic papers and after that, she took me to tour the first clasroom .. and she was just telling me all kids "work at their own paste ", when Yogi Patel showed up to asked me, what she already knew, about my 5 year old son who was actually there listening to her telling me , her students were able to read complete " chapter books" by that age that he couldn't take him and the she requested how many figure numbers did he knew by then ..... for what? If she was going to say no Unless I pay extra 1k after tuition fees for a special teacher ....that my kid was old for their program witch with recommendatly has to star at 3 years old or the " rest of the world" would be behind their knowledge. I mean if that is a something to be fulfilled before, why didn't she just said it the first day and avoid me from booking an appointment, spending my time and gas money ... but specially , the frustation of explaining my excited child, why was he rejected from a school this woman did even let us tour and even contradicted her own staff by saying exactly the opposite she was just explaining to us.
