I was nervous about the in-and-out surgery I was scheduled to have--and even more nervous about how I was going to get to Johns Hopkins at five-thirty in the morning! I live alone and knew that driving myself and then leaving my car in the Hopkins parking garage weren't feasible. Coming across Next Destination Transportation on the internet was my lucky moment. Marion Thompson is a thoughtful and caring person. On top of having a winning personality, he arrived at my apartment building on the dot--even giving a call to say he was on his way. (Little things like that mean a lot!), after which he provided an ultra-smooth ride to Johns Hopkins. Thirteen long hours later I was ready to go home--hungry, drained, groggy, sore: the works. When a friend who'd come in the afternoon to be with me called a cab to take us home, we found ourselves stranded. There were no cabs--or they were all busy. I decided to try Next Destination Transportation. It was spur-of-the-moment and I knew the chances were good that Marion was home eating dinner or out driving someone somewhere, but I took the chance and called. Marion didn't hesitate. In the time it took me to take a breath, literally by the time I let it out again, it seemed, there he was. He was in the middle of heading to a restaurant to have dinner, yet stopped and came and picked us up and got us safely home. I guess I don't need to say it: Next Destination Transportation from now on will be a permanent resident of Contacts in my iPhone. 5 star is not enough to rate this company. Next destination is the best, very reliable and trustworthy. It was my daughter & I very 1st time traveling to Baltimore. I was apprehensive, especially my husband is not going with us. I looked up Yelp , plugged in for the most trusted, reliable and safe transportation in MD& Next Destination popped up as #1. All the reviews were 5 stars! We were so happy that we chose this company , our very 1st impression was awesome, our Driver was the owner, Marion. He was very nice , on time and showed us the places we passed by en route to our hotel. We were very satisfied that we booked them for a tour to Washington DC, 2 days after. Our driver Bryan was very patient with us esp, I love to take pictures, it was raining so hard to DC that day that we just drove by to see the other monument, the tidal basin but I got to take a lot of pics in the cherry blossoms area. It was fun despite the rain . We did a tour of Baltimore as well since my daughter is contemplating to study there , our driver was Marion the owner. Super awesome, he toured us all over the city, showed us esp to my daughter the places to live, to shop, to eat and the history behind , and he surprised us about the cherry blossoms place as well at Fort McHenry. I reserved a car to take my teenage daughter from college to the airport. This was her first trip traveling without a family member so she was a bit nervous about the entire process. The communication I received before the actual trip was excellent. My initial request was answered in less than 15 minutes (and it was after hours) and the entire reservation and payment was simple and quickly completed. On the day of her trip Marion picked her up, arriving a few minutes early which was appreciated. She was texting me along the route letting me know how nice and professional he was! (The safety of my teenage daughters is always a concern for me since they are attending colleges 2,000 and 3,000 miles from home.). Her drop off was easy and she left for the airport calm and ready to tackle the airport on Thanksgiving weekend. When she flew back at the end of the Thanksgiving holiday, Bryan was at the airport ready to take her home. Marion made sure to get on a conference call with Bryan and my daughter to get them connected when she could not locate him. Again, professionally handled and she never felt unsafe or unsure of her transportation. If there were more than 5 stars, I'd give them a million! You really don't find this high level of customer service anymore unless you're at the Ritz Carlton! I had a close friend whose mother passed away travel to South America for the funeral with her toddler. Being that BWI was really far away from me, I contacted a few car services but I chose Next Destination based on the reviews & great service I received from my first call with them. Once my friend returned to the states she had a major flight delay from her layover location to BWI and Next Destination was extremely accommodating and understanding & quickly rearranged their busy schedule to ensure they were at the airport to take her & her child home the same day. (Also note-they had absolutely no idea that she had just lost her mother and that she had a tough journey back home.) Marion went above and beyond & really made it a seamless experience. Once my friend got to her home she texted me how nice & attentive Marion was and how the experience was "awesome!" On July 2, 2022 my husband and I celebrated 17 years of marriage. We had a reception style celebration and of course we would not have allowed any other transportation service transport us to our special event other than Next Destination Transportation. Transportation for our stay was on time and the vehicle was very clean and full of surprises (Balloons and Wine to help us celebrate). Ryan our driver was very professional and polite, he kept us engaged in great conversations. Once we got to the destination Ryan granted our request to sit in the vehicle for about 20 minutes to allow our guest to enter the venue. Once we exited the vehicle, Ryan waited until we entered the venue before pulling off. I cannot say enough about the wonderful experience with this company. My friend was delayed at the bus depot in Baltimore and needed to get to her destination to attend her father's memorial. It was 5:30am when she contacted me and I searched for a good cab company. She had asked at the bus depot what a fair to Aberdeen Md would cost and was quoted by a drug induced cabbie "at least 150". I found Next Destination Transportation on Yelp and saw they had excellent reviews. I called and was greeted warmly by a young man named Marion who quoted me a price of 50.00. He was very empathetic with my friend's dilemma and showed concern for her safety and well being. He also walked me through the simple payment transaction online though paypal. In addition, he texted me when he picked my friend up as well as when he dropped her off safely at her destination. It was astounding to me the level of thoughtfulness, concern, and willingness to provide excellent service this man possessed. Some friends invited me to Moonrise Festival the first weekend of August. I reached out to Marion (owner) with Next Destination Transportation who gave me a very reasonable quote for two days round-trip from my friends house to the festival at Pimlico Racecourse and back. Marion was extremely courteous, receptive, and professional. On the day of the event we were picked up by Nicole who is so amazing. The vehicle was spotless, very spacious, and looked great. We were also provided bottled water. When picking us up after the event concluded, Nicole was by her phone ready as soon as I called. Leaving the event was honestly such a mess with the amount of people and cars, but Nicole stayed on the phone with me both nights while I gave her updates of our location to which she found a parking spot on the street and waited for us to walk up. My friends and I were all extremely happy with Next Destination Transportation. Next Destination Transportation provides excellent service! I recently organized airport travel for 10 people between Maryland and Newark airport. I had initially been a bit concerned about booking a bus service roundtrip at short-ish notice (about 3 weeks out, I believe). However, one conversation with Marion at Next Destination alleviated all concerns. Marion was extremely professional and accommodated all of our group's needs. He was an enormous help in terms of coordinating multiple stops and getting to and from the airport on time. The price was fair, especially compared to the quotes I received from other companies. On the day of departure, Marion (who was our driver that day) arrived on time, and the bus was clean and very spacious for our group with luggage. He was also very gracious when we had to make an unforeseen emergency stop. On the return trip to Maryland, we had a different driver who was similarly prompt and courteous. Prior to the pandemic I did a great deal of business traveling mainly departures from Dulles Airport to international destinations. Therefore, I am familiar with sedan service travel. However over the last 2 years the world has changed I found myself in need of a new. I must say I was hesitant to book with a sedan service that I was unfamiliar. When it comes to customer service Next Destination Transportation (NDT) went above and beyond our expectations. Our company CEO was the keynote speaker for a University in Virginia and needed a private car service to spend the day taking him to and from the event, 3 hours away both ways, needless to say NDT did not hesitate to take on the client. Their price quote was great, they arrived 15 mins. ahead of time to make sure they were at the pick-up location for our CEO, and did I mention they needed to leave at 4:30am to get to the University on time. The NDT owner, Marion Thompson, even called the point of contact at the University two days before to ensure they had the correct address and drop off route. That type of service you don't find just anywhere. Our CEO and his wife spoke highly of the driver's professionalism, punctuality, courteousness and overall great driving experience as they were also driving with their newborn son. The price was reasonable, the service was excellent. I chose a SUV and they had a nice set up with water and cold beers waiting. Also COVID protocols with masks and sanitizers. I started using Next Destination Transportation (NDT), when I moved to Baltimore last July. I constantly use their service when flying in and out of Dulles Airport for work. Which is two or three times a week. They have always been easy to work with or around when flight times have been moved or delayed. I even had a flight delayed from a 6pm landing to 2am in the morning and they were still committed to getting me home. They are fast when you a submitted an invoice/quote through their website. I usually only get 4 day notice from work on where I am flying and the time and they always make sure I get there with plenty of time. The fleet of cars they have are all top of the line with clean interior. Drivers are always warm and welcoming and helpful especially when I moved here for recommendation on places to visit and eat. We had an early trip scheduled (5:30 am) and the driver, Bryan, arrived 30 minutes early. He was personable, professionally dressed, with a very courteous and professional manner.
