They call it the 7 day store as it is open 7 days a week and is a welcomed option on what is a mostly operational base. I have found myself stopping in here more and more to meet my needs. As I find my way off of NAS 1 and into the economy I think it will be my go to store .......but we shall see. read more

This Mini Mart is perfect for a quick shopping trip if you need a few last minute items. Located at Sigonella II (Naval station). Like a mini Walgreens back home this shopette has it all. Food like canned goods, pasta, frozen foods, orange juice, Quaker oats, bread (but to me not always fresh), packaged pastries, gifts (ceramics and touristy momentos), magazines, tons of paperback books, meds, beauty supplies, paper towels, Navy apparel and accessories, snacks, tupperware, beer, etc. I love coming in here to grab a few quick last minute items without going thru the whole commissary or NEX on Sigonella I. If you work on NAS II, a trip to the Mini Mart is inevitable. As I worked in Supply for Security, I was in and out of here weekly dropping off uniforms to be sewn. This is the place where you will go for all your uniform, medals, and PT gear needs. When it comes to uniforms, Margherita is fantastic and affordable. It is better than a stateside Mini Mart, which is usually barebones. I would definitely equate it to the likes of CVS or Walgreens. Stock includes food products, electronics, DVDs, music, books, active gear, pet gear, a small selection of alcohol, as well as bare necessities like deodorant, feminine products, and the like. There are even local Sicilian favorites like gifts to send home, candy, and some Sicilian food items. The only drawback is if there are a lot of customers in here. The lines can be pushed back into the aisles due to only having a maximum of two cash registers in the store. read more
