History

Established in 1999.

Started in 1999 as a sole proprietorship under the name of Ward Design Solutions, NewWard Development, LLC has grown into a full service internet and marketing firm. Managing Partner Melissa Ward, handles all customer relations, social media, marketing, design, seminars and trainings. Partner Robert Newberry builds intuitive applications and databases to make your web site into a functional tool to build your business.

Meet the Business Owner: Melissa W.

My job at the initial meeting is to discover who the client wants to talk to and what they want to say. Sometimes, I have to help clients sort through that. I come up with a task list and a proposal. It's not really about designing a web site; it's about getting a message out. The marketing and design pieces are handled by me. I am known as a subject matter expert in the field of Social Media Marketing. I train businesses how to use Social Media Sites (Facebook, Linkedin, Twitter, YouTube, etc), to get into the "conversation" with the right audiance. I also create and implement Social Media Marketing Strategies for my clients. I can often be found at the front of a room giving a presentation or training session in Social Media Marketing; my presentations are enthusiastic and informative - loaded with successful philosophies and facts (and fun). I see Social Media Marketing as a melding of the art and science of Marketing.
