It is hard for me to give an actual rating with this review, as the service changes often... Sometimes it's good and sometimes it's not. It's quite disappointing actually.
DEPOT: From what I am able to tell, everything seems to run smoothly for those who work at the depot itself. But for everything else, there's been a slight problem.
BUSES: Although most public transport has graffiti, this company tries to keep the buses clean and useable. It's not often that a messy or unclean bus can be found.
DRIVERS: Just in the past 6 years, there has been numerous injuries that never seems to be reported by the injured. Some drivers operate the vehicle un-safely, either driving too rough or driving in a manner that causes an injury. At times, it feels like the drivers should be retrained or their current position updated with a certain type of informative knowledge. Some drivers are anti-social, especially when it comes to the proper etiquette of payment and service. A lot of buses are late, while many others never arrive - this is sometimes a worry, especially when it is the last bus of the evening/night. Some drivers are quite bias towards certain minorities, while many other drivers shouldn't be employed in that position if they suffer from certain medical conditions and/or they can't handle the every day substances, influences and aromas most people attract or have in general.
SERVICE: When reporting any injuries or unsafe driving, customers are asked to provide information they may not remember. Most customers go off of the ticket that they had purchased from the driver, thinking that the time, date, bus route and/or driver's number would be enough information to identify who the driver is/was. Even after providing the information, customers never hear from them again.
Overall, the actual service is shocking and the new Opal system charges more than what a daily trip usually costs. read more
