I was advised by couple of attorneys and by NYPD & NJPD. I told the officer (Gonzalez) the story, he refused to do two reports, I said put on one report then, he said ok. few weeks later we picked up the report and found it incomplete with errors ( business name wrong, occurrence date wrong and only shows fraud). we called it took 2 weeks to get hold of the office. he refused to correct/ addendum the report. he said his supervisor said no. And I am one of the first few people that come in to file report against that dealer and they stopped do reports and start sending people to attorney genera/consumer affair. Cover up By HPD & the rest. I complained to internal affairs and the mayor and no response. we also complained to AG about that dealership and many emails they say sorry dealership out of business and they can't do anything, I asked if they referred it to DA or Prosecutor office and they never responded and that was 9 month ago and no response. we got scammed for $64000 not including interests for 1.5 year on two loan. many other people got scammed by these guys and guess what the Officials are covering up (MAGA). we contacted the media and So on, Hopefully everyone will do the same, maybe if they do a story or put in local papers the elected officials will do something about these guys since all the above are covering up. these scammers Owns AMG auto in south amboy, rally motor car, parkwood auto mall & few others. they have connections they open up scam hundreds of people and then close shop and open under different corp. if anyone got scammed by these guys please complain to the media and contact me. Between 2023 and 2024 He has been pulled over three times already by now. Coming home from choir rehearsal or dropping off my daughter at Kean University. I'm a bit tired of him coming to tell me this. I do plan to speak with a police captain. And perhaps there really needs to be an investigation into this. I sense racial profiling. Union is a nice town and county and have spent much time here having gone to school at Kean. Union…read morehas also left a bitter taste in my mouth too. The good is Union center - specifically the strip on Stuyvesant. There have always been cool places to eat and now that more than ever coffee shops/cafes and restaurants with creative menus are hot the area has some nice places to check out. Union Center has even received a bit of a makeover within the last decade which is nice and traversing back and forth across the street is a bit easier. Union Center even has it's own Yelp page adding to how influential it makes Union as a whole and a popular destination for a break from University Students. My problem with Union is that in all the years of me driving, some of the handful of times I've been pulled over, it's been in Union. Ok my car was a bit hooked up at the time, but I didn't REALLY do anything wrong and it cost me a couple hundred dollars all together. It's was a case of a Cops being out for the small fish on those days. Yes this was years ago, but it was lame back then and it's lame thinking about it now being a college student low on money as is. Still Union is an alright place by me and seems to be for the residents and consumers.

Unfortunately BPD has changed dramatically. My mother's headstone was stolen from the cemetery by…read morethe monuments company who installed it. We had taken Life Monuments to court due to breach of contract. We won, but had not recieved our money back. While fighting to get our money back we started following legal steps through Essex county courts which in turn pissed the monument place off. In retaliation, Life Monuments stole the stone off my mother's grave and still had our money. We immediately called BPD to report the theft. We even had a witness, the grounds worker at the cemetery, verify that Life Monuments stole the headstone. Well no arrest was made. The detective on the case decided it was a civil matter, which after consulting with a lawyer, was a lie. He brokered a deal with Life Monuments instead of following the law. The unprofessional treatment we received from BPD left a bad taste in our mouth. If your package from Amazon gets stolen off your front porch the BPD are all over it, but if someone steals a headstone and dececrates a loved ones grave, it's taken lightly. I will never support BPD, the PBA or FOP ever again. One star is two many..

I had a fantastic experience here recently! I know that most people do not have a great experience…read morewith Police, but I did. Recently someone went 30 through a stop sign and hit my car. The officer who responded to the call was wonderful. Very pleasant! I had to come to the PD to pick up the police report to go through her insurance. As soon as I waked through the door, several officers greeted me very friendly! I was directed to a window on the right hand side. I feel so bad for the lady that worked behind that window. I really dislike describing people in non positive ways, but she was a more mature lady walking with a cane and a limp. She walked around so slowly, I felt my heart breaking watching her walk to and from the window. She retrieved my report, took her 5 minutes, again felt so bad! It cost $2... For 2 pieces of paper... LOL! I didn't really care... I do not know why they charge for these things... As I was waiting for the report, a woman walked in with a box of toys for a toy drive, I then saw 3 officers run out to not only get the door for her, but help her with the boxes. I know people complain about police all the time, but these officers were so nice! All in all, everyone is super friendly! Great PD.

The driver at once at Grand Ave having Me behind him decided to reverse into the resident payed for municipal lot, at which point blow My horn cause he was bout to tap My mom's SUV which is parked in there.. At this point I dialed the department that other than a polite voice had nothing else to offer, although she said they are on the way they never showed them basters, over payed over Fed, making the Township look bad and corrupt, shame on them all, after hearing your misconduct on the radio I believe this town is corrupt and don't do anything but misbehave and eat donuts!

I have a 6:00pm court appearance. Got here at 5:45 and its chaos! There were ppl who has been here…read morefor the 5:00pm court and still waiting to see the prosecutor. Most disorganized police department I have ever seen. Listening to the conversations around me seems like they follow you and have to think about what they would like to give you a ticket for. In my case I asked the officer what I was pulled over for and immediately started stuttering. He just kept repeating license and registration pls. I'm up for a trial now. If I was guilty of an offense I would gladly pay the ticket but that's not the case. Hoping for the best possible outcome. West Orange is a fairly quiet town and that's what I like about it. This is great for starting a family but when you are being harassed for no apparent reason that's just pointless. Before these cops pull you over they should be smart enough to actually have a reason to give you upon rolling up on you. West Orange Police Department needs to do a house cleaning and Education Seminar to officers and staff.

She went 5 miles mph above the speed limit for a few seconds. Immediately a cop who was waiting on the opposite side of the road followed her and gave her a ticket for reckless driving. Within a couple of days she received unsolicited letters from attorneys who were wiling to defend her. This incidence would have put a surcharge on her car ins. policy. Hence she decided to appeal. When she went to court she was asked to see the prosecutor. He pressured her to settle the matter by accepting a charge that would not put a surcharge on her car ins. policy. My daughter has an excellent driving record. She agreed to this deal because she did not want her driving record ruined. The prosecutor changed the charge to crossing a red light. She had to pay a fine of $200 plus $39 court fee. This is a big scam to generate revenue for the state and to ensure that the cops, the lawyers, the prosecutors and the judges are paid well and to make sure that the insurance companies make good money. Nobody can drive at a constant speed throughout a trip. You cannot drive with your eyes on the speedometer. Going over the speed limit for a few seconds is not speeding. My daughter was driving within the lane. She was not talking on the phone. She was not driving under the influence of alcohol. Her car is in excellent condition. How can you say she was reckless?
