I'm a big fan of the pastor! Wish I could give more stars. Look the church up on YouTube.

I want every donor, every board member, and every PTSD survivor considering Center of Hope to know…read morewhat happened to me here -- because it was not just disappointing; it was dangerous. I came to Center of Hope for months, not for money, but for vouchers to receive trauma therapy and for the support of the "life coach" I was told would help me. Every visit, I had to retell my entire traumatic history because I was assigned a different staff member every single time. No continuity, no familiarity, no trauma-informed care -- just repeated retraumatization from being forced to start over each visit. After nearly eight months of waiting, I finally met their life coach, "Dave." What happened next was shocking. After stepping out to speak with someone named Colleen (a name I had heard repeatedly from staff), he returned and told me that maybe the reason no one was helping me was because "you made all of this up in your head." Read that again. I came in seeking stability, support, and guidance for ongoing PTSD treatment -- and was told that my trauma, my losses, and everything my family has suffered might be something I fabricated. This is not trauma-informed care. This is not compassion. This is gaslighting, and it is psychologically dangerous -- especially for clients struggling with PTSD, anxiety, or past abuse. I walked out of that meeting shaking, furious, and more triggered than I have been in years. If I had been someone in a more fragile state, the outcome could have been catastrophic. To donors: If you believe your contributions are helping people in crisis, you should know that the environment here is not only inadequate -- it can cause real emotional harm. To PTSD survivors: If you are seeking consistent, trauma-informed support, this is not the place. Being accused of fabricating your trauma -- especially by someone in a position of trust -- is devastating and retraumatizing. I hope Center of Hope takes this seriously, because what happened to me should never happen to another person. Ever.

They claim to be a Christian organization, but they will decide if you are "Christian enough." They…read morerefuse to let certain religions help even though they are Christian. They are an extremely biased organization. If you happen to be allowed to help, they force you to sign a document stating you will not say anything about your religion. All in all, they say they are Christian but they are not.
