Aww, Pizzeria Chez Matteo just brings back happy memories. Friends and I popped in for dinner one…read morenight and were the only people in the place at like 8pm, which seemed a bit odd. Apparently not, as the later it got the more people who filled the seats. We were already into this place before the food even arrived because of the people. Matteo and the other woman working were so helpful, and when they didn't know the English word to help explain what we wanted, they had other patrons help us. We tried with the French, we really did, but they were amazing in helping us figure out what we wanted! Next, the food. Our pizzas were SO good, I'd absolutely make a point to return when in town. In fact, if I lived in Strasbourg I would be a loyal regular and I'd befriend everyone who works and frequents there. People here were so nice, I was really impressed.
