As God is my Witness Faith City is the most uplifting spiritual church I'd ever been to. There is a very good bass player, he's very very kind. Met him in the parking lot one Sunday. It's such a welcoming place where everyone genuinely cares for one another, and you can really feel the spirit moving. What I love most is how they tackle spiritual warfare. The members here are true prayer warriors, always ready to stand strong against anything the enemy throws our way. The teachings really make you think and help you understand God's word in a way that truly transforms your heart. Our pastor is anointed and has prayed for my family many times. I've often seen those prayers answered, which has been such a blessing. It's clear he has a special connection with God, and his passion for helping others grow in their faith is contagious. This church is truly a special place, and I want everyone to have the chance to experience it the way I have. I've found such a supportive community here and feel closer to God than ever before. I must say Houston is known fur their Large Scale Churches which includes Lakewood Church. If Lakewood was an Asian church this would fit the bill. There may not be a lot better of rows like Lakewood but I had no trouble finding a seat. For years, I've been having good relationships with Asian churches and I must declare the service here are really good. I had no trouble hearing the sermon. They are really motivating and clear. In terms of parking there is plenty to go around with. This church is even close to my hotel in Houston. I don't have to drive so much just to come here. Pastor Greg Matte gives such clear down to earth sermons in which I leave feeling closer to God and my soul enriched. I also love the Bible study class called "The Climb" that we attend. The most amazing thing about this church is the single parents bible study classes they have where they encourage, serve and help raise up single parents in such an amazing way. So if your ever bored on a Sunday, come check them out! You won't be disappointed! The service lasted about an hour and 15 min. I thought the singing in the beginning was nice (very big group), but after 15-20 minutes I was kind of over it; felt like I was at Lakewood. Once the praise & worship was over, pastor Gregg started to preached and I was pleased with what was getting preached. I was there to learn, and pastor Gregg's sermon did exactly that. Excellent Pastor! Cons: Megachurch, lack of diversity, A L O T of singing. Pros: Clean, Pastor Greggs teaching.

We recently had a huge event in our mosque with almost 30,000 visitors. The folks at life path were so incredibly nice. They lent us their field and parking lots, and they greeted us every morning with blessings, kind words, and bottles of water. If I may be so bold, they are Christians in the truest sense of the word, displaying tolerance, love, and kindness to their brothers and sisters. I was frankly a bit worried about the reception 30,000 Muslims would receive, but I was moved to hopeful tears by the folks at life path. May God bless them and keep them safe. Amen.

Now the interesting thing for me about this church, other than being able to dress however I please, is that they are HUGE about small groups and local outreach. This speaks volumes to me that this church is not about putting money in a collection tin, showing up on Sunday, and singing a few hymns to call themselves good for the week. This is a community of people who are actively seeking to grow spiritually and reflect love in the good deeds they try to do for other people. It's freakin' hard to find this church though. Turn north on Bingle Road. Turn left on Memorial Park Drive. (You should start seeing white posters with red "@" stuck everywhere into the grass.) Turn right into that parking lot that you immediately see. Also, despite what the posters say, do not freak out. Worship starts at 10, like stated on the website.
