In 2019, Dr. Cardona completed a ligament repair on my ankle. I had gone to physical therapy for…read moremonths, but wasn't getting better. Then I went to an orthopedic, who didn't understand what was going on and then gave me exercises that made it even worse. Dr. Cardona was immediately different. She really understood what was going on and had me do some movements and she moved my ankle. Then she had a good idea what was going on and verified in the MRI. The entire process was very comforting that we had a path forward. I was originally scared about surgery and recovery, but Dr. Cardona made me feel secure. The surgery went great even though there was more damage than we thought. Recovery went well and I've been very happy with the ligament repair since. I may continue to go to the office for the special orthopedic inserts since they also made a difference even before the surgery.
