My doctor…read morerecommended physical therapy after trying the steroid pack without any real improvement. it took time but over the course of the first 4 weeks, I got to the point where the pain had lessen so I could sleep at night, I could walk and stand for long periods without any pain. Key was each day I did the exercises I was told to do and I saw Julian 2 to 3 times per week. The therapy allowed me to go on my vacation and have a great time. Upon returning, I continued therapy for a few more weeks to try to get rid of the little instances of pain. I feel like the pain is nearly gone and I am at the point where I can continue the therapy on my own. I am now playing pickleball again, going for long walks and am about to start jogging for several miles. Feels good to be back to myself. Thanks to Julian and the rest of the team Sara and Christina for their dedication and work. And for putting up with me wanting instant relief and reminding me it takes time.

Worst experience for our family. We did outpatient for our child. Our child went for stress…read moremanagement on the advice from a school counselor and an evaluation.. The other teenage "clients" were of a different ilk than what we were told would be there for help... drug dealers, drug users, in trouble constantly with the law, sexually active, most were identifying as transexual... None of this was told to us when we entered the program. The head of the program, despite what we were told at intake, confessed the teenage clients had unsupervised time together because the staff needed breaks and the staff did not monitor the bathrooms. It was during these times the other teenage clients told our child that the problem was that parents really hate their children and shouldn't be trusted and that living in the program hospitalized full-time (dropping out of school) was the best thing in life, and should be strived-for. And maybe worst of all they tried indoctrinating our child to become trans, teaching our kid how to choose a new name, buy hormones from them, and fight against us when we were going to say this was not a good way to be. Embark has a great reputation and maybe for the other more-troubled kids it works to some degree (a lot of the kids were repeat clients) so I cannot speak to their journey. For us it was horrible. If we had a more serious situation, perhaps this would be the correct place to which to turn.

I decided to try physical therapy to see if it would help at all before I agree to an operation. Asia, who is the director of the Wayne PA Trinity Rehab, is amazing. Within 15 minutes of meeting me, she told me exactly what was wrong and suggested to see a back specialist to confirm what she suspected. I went to Rothman and got xrays and it turns out that Asia was completely correct. It was not my hip but the pain was coming from my back. I've been in pt for 2 weeks and have seen much improvement. I did 2 sessions of the EPT treatment which worked beautifully. I just can't say enough great things about Trinity Rehab; Asia and the pt assistant, Ang.
