Walked in the door and was greeted by a friendly woman at the front. I gave the name of my manicurist with whom I had the appointment and she called to her. The young manicurist turned and started walking to the back of the salon without greeting me. I picked my gel color and told her that I needed my current gel polish soaked off. She looked at one of my nails and started to peel it off. I quickly told her no, that picking off the gel polish was damaging to nails and I wanted it to be soaked off. Any manicurist should know that picking off the gel polish is damaging and not a proper removal technique. I then explained to her that she could use cotton with acetone and then wrap them with foils. That took about 45 minutes (!) and it was evident that I was with a very inexperienced manicurist. No problem, every one is new at their profession at least once. I tried to start some friendly conversation, but she did not converse with me the entire time. My nails grow really fast so I asked her to shorten them. She filed most of them, but when that was taking too long, she decided to clip some of them, which is fine with me However, the nail clippers she was using came from somewhere "in the back", instead of at the station in a container with disinfectant. I have no idea if they were sanitized. They were also really rusty. It was just gross. She used lotion to push my cuticles back and just lightly cleaned the nails off after that. She applied the polish carefully, and I thought at least they would look good when done. Wrong. After I got home, the polish on many of my nails quickly rubbed off along the sides. I think it was probably because the lotion was not cleaned off properly and the polish didn't cure. The polish also rubbed off along the top of a few of the nails. They look awful. Obviously, if I lived here, I would have gone right back and asked for someone else to redo them. It was painfully obvious that this manicurist is woefully under-trained in giving manicures. Again, being new at your career is one thing, but just flat out not having the proper training is not acceptable. And using rusty equipment? Yuck. Also, most people in the salon industry like to converse with their clients. The silent treatment was weird. I'll be so happy to get back to my regular manicurist next week. Note to self after this experience: call the salon and ask to to be scheduled with a manicurist who is experienced in gel polish, rather than scheduling online. Quality of Manicure: 1 star Salon style/vibe: 4 stars Friendliness of manicurist: 0 stars

Didn't get anything what I asked. Hair coloring went wrong. Nothing like I asked. Cut... nothing…read morelike I asked. Didn't even get told what I'm paying for. I asked for a masque and color gold also. Just told the price and asked how I'm going to pay. I look at emailed receipt and doesn't even say what I paid for. My hair looks like crap. Nice atmosphere but experience is definitely lacking.
