This trip is a dream come true! We were welcomed by the amazing crew Louise & Nunzio, who both are…read morejust lovely. We were the first on the boat and I immediately picked the perfect spot in front of the boat and enjoyed the sun. Once everyone was on board Louise welcomed us again and gave us a brief introduction about the tour. She would come back every now and then and point out sights on the tour. She was extremely pleasant, always around for questions, and simply a great conversationalist. Nunzio, who is not only the Captain of the boat, but also the cook, prepared the most amazing and authentic Italian lunch: we had lovely appetizers, including fantastic cheese, and meats followed by home made pasta. Of course, everyone had seconds because it was so good. If you have the chance, you should take a look in the kitchen: it's just one stovetop, but somehow Nunzio was able to cook pasta that was better than any other place. We stopped at multiple secluded places, enough time for everyone to go swimming, snorkeling or just hanging out on the boat and tanning. There's also room in the back that's covered, so if you need a break from the sun you definitely have the chance to hide. This trip was definitely the highlight of our vacation, and if we're back in Sardinia we will be back again on the Antares. Thanks Nunzio and Louise for a truly memorable event.

During our hour and half tour - (there are longer itineraries as well) - we saw the amazing Cliffs of Bonifacio, the Napoleon Cave (one cannot enter anymore due to erosion but amazing sight anyway); red lighthouse perched on limestone cliffs; small beaches only reachable by sea; and more. The Captain (sorry forgot his name) was so engaging and knowledgeable, as was his young crew. They held out fish to summon gulls, took pictures if requested and explained the scenery in a leisurely friendly way. There's a small glass bottom where one can see local fish as well. We were lucky enough to have great weather on our trip and the group was large but we didn't feel overly crowded. Advance tickets necessary, can be purchased online. A wonderful trip, highly recommended!

Here you can rent a dinghy boat for the day…read more(without needing a boating license) and take yourself around various beaches that are ONLY accessible by boat and in and out of cool little grottos. Lino, the man that works here is very kind and clearly explains everything in the office and then his team members who help you onto the boat clearly explain everything there as well. The water here is unbelievably clear and gorgeous - we enjoyed being out in the deep blue part on our own and jumping in the water just as much as getting close to the shore line where the water is more turquoise. Online, their website says from 70 euro/day, but Lino explained that this is only in off season. In August, apparently it's 250 euros/day, but we didn't show up until almost noon so he gave it to us for the rest of the day (til 6pm) for 150 euros. When you come back, you pay for the gas needed to refill - for us this was 25 euros. And expect a long line at 6pmish (though the company will help you with this part). They offer you an umbrella and a cooler, so bring ice and drinks/snacks. Boat has a shade and also places to store things that need to stay dry. An amazing day in Sardinia!
