The workers they do have are clearly working hard, but sometimes they don't even have the time for that annoying fake cheerfulness that Wisconsin customers live for. You don't have a better choice or price for 88 Octane fuel but remember they don't have car diesel.

As I pulled in to the wash pay station for what I hoped would be a single quick convenient wash on my way home from work on a Friday afternoon, my car was approached and halted by a teenage employee. She proceeded to insist I buy a package. I politely said no "not interested" three times, but still she persisted, leaning in closer to my window. At this point she got aggressive asking, "where do you live?" and I told her she was pushing too hard & I was leaving. She refused to tell me her first name when I asked (so I could reference her to management) finally backing off & saying, "it don't matter". As I reversed my car to exit, she began filming me on her cell phone. The other attendant yelled "then go somewhere else!" as they both laughed and stuck their tongues out with hand gestures. The hassle and harassment at this location is disturbing. Avoid it.

When I jumped on Yelp to check in it said that this station is closed, I'm filling up right now so I have to correct this on yelp. This Kwik Trip had me do a double take at the pump because there was two grades of unleaded gas one at 87 octane and one 88 octane which I don't remember ever seeing. This is an older Kwik Trip and not the really cool new one with all amenities and smaller but they pack a lot in. As you walk in the hot food smacks you in the face and you notice how packed in the store is. It still has fresh food, coolers with food and most of the gas station items like drinks etc. The free ATM caught my eye so I took a picture to show Yelp that they are not closed at all and were pretty busy on my visit.

It was founded in 1965 in my home state of WI, specifically, Eau Claire (have fun pronouncing that all you non-Wisconsinites). A Long John is a yeast/raised doughnut that is typically iced and sometimes filled with custard, cream, or some other filling. The term is primarily utilized in the Midwest, Texas, and Canada. Other parts of the U.S. refer to Long Johns as Bar Doughnuts, Finger Doughnut, or Cream Stick (that one sounds kind of dirty). The variety I have from Kwik Trip had chocolate icing and a multitude of OREO chunks decorating its surface. Cookies n cream is one of my favorite dessert flavors and I was ecstatic that it even contained creme in the center. I honestly thought this was going to be a top tier doughnut but could not have been more wrong. All the bells and whistles are useless if the basics are neglected. In this case, the body of the doughnut/dough had a bland flavor and did not taste fresh (or at least poor texture). They won't try to oversell you on anything, and make sure to only tell you the fixes that are necessary. They charged me HUNDREDS under what I was quoted elsewhere, and were able to get the job done in a few hours. I have brought by car back to them for every fix up since.
