Upon arrival, I found there was ample parking and was in a clean , well kept location. I was greeted warmly by two members that were outside the church and ushered in and introduced to the usher members standing inside, who were very friendly and helpful to help you navigate once inside. The church was very clean, well appointed and inside the main hall, a large crowd of people of all ages. It was a lively place, people milling about, talking, smiling and fellowshipping before the services began. I was greeted warmly, smiled at and shook hands with members of all ages. The members really engaged with me. I felt really welcome as a first time visitor. When the services began, they had live music and singing, teleprompters in english and spanish. After the singing, the pastor begin with the daily message and scriptures, it was relatively easy to follow along and he presented himself as a man compassionate about his mission and journey with Christ. The pastor engaged with the members, talked and encouraged from his platform. He discussed his mission for the church, reminded the members what was on the agenda for the month, reminded visitors what was going on in the church and how they too can be a part of the mission. I was genuinely impressed with the New Beginnings church platform and the warm embrace emitting from the church. They do not pass a collection plate, but if you want to donate, there are private collection boxes in designated areas. You can also contribute by google pay or Zelle. That is a really stellar move and I liked that very much. Overall, I liked my visit at New Beginnings church and I think I will return next Sunday. The time services start are from 11:00 am til 1:00 pm. Upon leaving the services, I was given a first time visitors gift bag filled with little goodies. This was a very endearing touch. I really appreciated the blessing in attending the services. It felt really good to go out and fellowship, so much so that I want to do it again. Amen. read more
