So I want to be completely honest with my review because Atlanta is known for hyping restaurants up…read moreand then not living up to the hype. Starting with the service, it was honestly amazing from the door to the table to the bar. Everyone I came in contact with was very hospitable and made our experience great. However, the food was underwhelming. We ordered every single appetizer that our server suggested. I will give them. The appetizers are good with notable mentions for the tuna spoons, the oxtail, spring rolls, and the dumplings. The entrées, though were not my favorite. The filet mignon is more of a beef and broccoli situation and although we knew that it easily gave me a higher end mall Chinese food. The fried rice was extremely dry. We had the lobster and the shrimp. The lobster fried rice had little tomato no lobster in it and for the price it was disappointing. We also got chicken lo mein which probably was the best entrée we had. I will say the drinks are amazing if I had to choose I would probably go back and just get drinks and appetizers. One note for the restaurant, we had the spare ribs which were extremely red on the inside and had a very tangy taste, and unfortunately everyone at my table that had it the next day was running to the restroom. That was the only common denominator we could find. Our food did come out in a timely manner however, some of it was lukewarm, it gives they may make them in batch and bring them out. They came out before our drink. It is very aesthetically pleasing in here. I will give them that. We went on a Friday night and the music was amazing. Good R&B hits!

The best part was the mango sticky rice - sooooo good It was really such a special date, I'm so glad she picked Ruby Chow's - I've been wanting to go foreverrrrr Would go again for sure!

The restaurant is beautiful, red velvet curtains, baroque flowered wallpaper. The service was excellent. They have a very nice wine, cocktail, and mocktail list. I had the purple rain, light and bubbly. My friend enjoyed her gingery King's Ransom. The menu is Chinese and Asian fusion, and a short list of sushi. Chinese is always meant to be shared. We had the miso truffle salmon and each of the steam buns to start. I thought the salmon was very good, I do not normally like capers, but liked the way they prepared them. The katsu was probably the best of the buns, nicely crispy. The tofu was good a well, with a nice kick, the young one in our group found it too spicy. I would not order the short rib again, it was fine, but I've had much better short rib. We then had the chicken satay, roti canai, and the miso cod. The chicken satay had good flavor, and paired well with the peanut sauce and pickles. I did find it a bit too fatty. The miso cod was perfectly cooked, and the flavor was just right. Note that it is a very small portion. The best dish was the roti, a yellow curry with chicken and veggies with two flaky peice of roti. So good. The star of the meal though was the mango sticky rice, with sorbet and small bits of mochi. This is one of the best versions I've ever had. Do not miss this dessert! The issue I had with our visit is we, a group of three, were seated by the door, which was also near the kitchen door. The seating felt cramped, and every few minutes one of the doors was slamming, which made it a less pleasant experience. There were also several other tables open that we could have been seated at instead.

The place is non-descript and the parking lot is small, but it works. The menu had lots of good options, but is basic at the same time. The place was pretty full on a Saturday around 5:30pm, but there was no line to order at the counter. I got the burrito (bowl or taco are the other options) and filled it with bulgogi. The pineapple soy was amazing and it had the perfect amount of spice. The fries were great as well, with unique seasoning. We also got the Kokuma, which was fried sweet potato. This was a good side for those who didn't get fries with their meal. The service was friendly and we topped off our meal with some Yom ice cream they sold there.

It was time to catch up with E and as always, we wanted to try somewhere new. There were a few…read moreoptions and we decided on Hankook Taqueria. I had never heard of Hankook Taqueria, however the reviews were amazing and the photos made me hungry. LoL! Arriving at Hankook Taqueria, I am so glad I arrived early as the parking lot is very small and fills up very quickly. From the time I arrived until the time E pulled up, 20 minutes had passed and the parking lot was loaded. I knew then that I was in for a treat. Walking into Hankook Taqueria, the establishment is very straightforward. You walk through the door, the food line is in front of you. A few tables and booths to your right. And, the drink machine to your left. Boom! That's it. That's your tour. lol! As I got in line, I already knew what I wanted. Based on the pictures I had viewed on Yelp, I was ready to order. The line moved quickly and we were up to the register in no time. The young lady behind the register was very pleasant. She greeted me with a smile, and was ready for me to place my order. I decided to get the Beef "Bul Gogi" Burrito and Fries. The Beef "Bul Gogi" is beef marinated in a sweet/savory Korean BBQ sauce and served in a burrito wrap with Kimchi Fried Rice and the fixings. Oh yes... I needed this. Of course I decided to get the combo and pair it with fries. OhMyGoodness!!!!! I had no idea that food could be so good. The beef was tender and well seasoned. The Korean BBQ Sauce paired so well with the natural juices of the beef. The Kimchi Rice (my first time having it) was amazing as well. I provided an added texture of chewy goodness. The flavor profile of the rice was a nice balance of savory and heat. The heat wasn't a hot spice but it was a flavor spice that kicked the beef and bbq sauce up a notch. This was a true 10/10. The fries were an experience themselves as well. They were fried to golden perfection and the coating on them made them even better. They weren't too salty nor were they bland, they maintained the natural potato flavor and had the right level of salt to enhance the flavor just enough to make you lick your fingers. All I know is that Hankook Taqueria is the bombbbbbbbb and I am hooked. I have to go back now and try the Beef "Bul Gogi" nachos, quesadilla, and loaded fries. LoL #FeedMe I am so happy I have been introduced to Hankook Taqueria. If you haven't been yet, get there asap.
