I am upset at myself for not believing the bad reviews I saw posted about Teresa and her quality of work. Wasted $399 worth of brows service. Currently I have to make corrections every day with makeup to my brows. I have to say that the reviews did not mentioned her unprofessional, narcissistic, very rude attitude. During my appointment she was more concerned in telling me about her cat, ranch and retirement plans than asking or listening to what I have to say about what I wanted for my eyebrows. She did everything I did NOT want. She shaved my eyebrows and make them thinner even thought I mentioned that I didn't shaved them or plug them out. The color was reddish, completely the opposite of what I wanted. My brows were long and curvy, exactly the opposite of what I wanted. 3 month after her work, my eyebrows have lost 50% of the color and have grown back, I guess after the quality of her work I am glad because it is easier to fix them with makeup. However, I wasted $399 dollars and the time writing the review just so people don't go through what I did. People stay away from Teresa, you will regret it!!! read more

All natural treatment for microblading and permanent makeup eyebrows." But she claimed it was removal only??? Why wouldn't you just say that in the advertisement then!? Why confuse people by putting two different sentences that would assume either/or?!? Why not say exactly "removal ONLY!!!???" She was so dismissive and snappy and wouldn't even look me in the face after disrespectfully telling me the Groupon was wrong. I tried to tell her it was kind of misleading and she actually ignored me (immature much?!) then began to get extremely defensive when I stood there in shock and her demeanor basically said "too bad! I'm not willing to help. I don't need your business, so leave and take it up with Groupon!". She seriously walked behind the counter and dismissed me by removing my booking. You would think she would be like "sorry Groupon maybe messed up on their end, but let me book you for treatment and maybe take off 10% of the full service. I'll alert Groupon to help you get a refund from for the confusion". She wouldn't even look at my phone to see how it was misleading or can be interpreted as receiving microblading. Like am I crazy?!? If it's a generic title for 399 worth of services, and then a sentence below stating All natural treatment for microblading and permanent makeup eyebrows! Her demeanor and dismissive attitude was unnecessary and I would have just easily disputed with Groupon, but she wouldn't even look to see how the advertisement was displayed to save herself form looking like the bad guy. Based off the reviews and pictures of some of the shoddy workmanship, I dodged a bullet anyway. Hope you are as lucky too! I'm sure she fixed the advertisement by now since this review was oddly not posted (or maybe falsely removed?), but she did me a favor by being so rude. Theresa has a bit of an arrogance, or should I say, "god complex." She says she is the best, but I would beg to differ. She does not offer the best quality, or services, especially CUSTOMER SERVICE. THE PERMANENT EYE LINER DOES NOT LAST, AND SHE MADE MY SCAR WORSE. (There is one free touch up that all clients get, and the eye liner has still faded, missing spots and the top of the eyelid essentially no eyeliner after only a couple months) still fading I called in multiple times to complain, and she down plays it or puts it off like it's not a big deal. She is confident that the NON PERMANENT INK WILL FADE AWAY on the scar? Or the scar IS PERMANENTLY made worse to a DARK RED. I am owed a REFUND. I want to ALSO say she used WAY too much numbing cream, ignoring that there is risk of TOXICITY TO lidocaine/tetracaine/etc if overdone or if you are sensitive. I was literally sick. It got ALL inside my eyes. I had the worst migraine, sever nausea, and toxicity symptoms that lasted 2 days. I have to say getting my eyebrows microbladed is one of the best beauty decisions I have ever made. Theresa did an incredible job, and takes her time throughout the entire process. After leaving my first session I was a bit worried for about a day because my eyebrows were so dark, plus I wasn't used to having eyebrows in general. I just finished my 3D eyebrow sessions (3 total). I am so happy I found Theresa and wish I had gotten this done years ago. I "used" to have very thin, light blonde eyebrows. Every single morning I would have to draw them in with my Bareminerals eyebrow pencil. It was the most time consuming piece of my morning, but I would never leave the house without my eyebrows done. Even on days I would go face makeup-less; I would still do my eyebrows because I felt I looked awful (and 12) without them. I had been researching permanent eyebrows for quite sometime, but I was always apprehensive. I finally went on Yelp and started reading reviews. Theresa popped up under Axiom so I checked out her site. I was very impressed with the eyebrows she had done; so I pulled the trigger and scheduled a consult. The first appointment focused on design. I likes the fact that however I drew them in was how they were going to look. It put me at ease that there would be no surprises. I am very picky on my eyebrows and like them a certain way. I have perfected drawing them in over the years; so I liked that she was going to make them look exactly how I wanted them - but Permanent!!!! She used numbing gel before the actual process; which I was thankful for because my face is very sensitive. The tattoo part only took about 15 minutes and was not bad at all. I was only red for about an hour afterwards. Session 2 she shaped them a bit more and made sure they measured evenly. Session 3 she perfected them and went a tad bit darker on the color. All I can say is I love them. They look so natural. It is so nice to wake up and go. So nice To go to the gym or to the lake and not be that girl who has to put on makeup. I am so excited about them. I recently found this permanent make up company online. I liked the work in all the IG and FB photos. I've had two previous Bad experiences with permanent make up that went horrible. So naturally I wanted to come in for an in person consultation. When I first came in, Theresa seemed a bit questionable about me scheduling an in person consult asking me "didn't i see the video on the website?". Yes I did, but I wanted more personal answers about questions that applied directly to my situation and desired results given I've had bad experiences prior. I asked for price quotes and if she would honor a discount coupon to her business that was only 1 day after it expired & she told me "I'm not slow with clientele, so I don't need to offer discounted rates". In other words, she doesn't need my business. After speaking with her for a few mins, I wanted to book an appt and she explained to me that she is "not a very good receptionist to book appointments" so she directed me to a website she uses for booking. I'm not the most tech savvy but I attempted to use her site & had complications. After rescheduling a few times, she told me her rates were going up and if I canceled or rescheduled my appt that it would not be at the same rate anymore and it would go up. So a few days before my appt, I texted to confirm. At this time, Theresa wasn't even aware I had an appt booked online from her website, but oddly enough i had the confirmation email as she told me to look for. She told me she didn't see that I had scheduled it, even after I had a confirmation email sent to me. She explained that this was due to me having multiple accounts, which made no sense because no matter what account I logged into to book the appointment it would be on the schedule regardless. After this confusion was resolved about me accidentally having entered my information twice on her appointment website, she offered to fix the multiple accounts created. Then I began to rethink things and get nervous. She has a few negative reviews that affirmed my fears about bad undesired results. I just felt that due to covid and being off to such a bumpy start with her, I wasn't comfortable having this person work on my face with permanent make up so I canceled my appt and sent an email. I just went in for a touch up(October 2017). I've had beautiful results each time. Theresa has been micro blading for many years and is a true artist-she has perfected her trade. I had my original appointments with Theresa in March of 2016, which was about a year after a horrible experience with a tattoo artist that claimed to know how to microblade-according to her advertising (in Groupon). My eyebrows looked goofy to say the least. Theresa was able to camouflage that person's mistakes and make my eyebrows look beautiful-- and just as important she made them look natural. I chose Theresa after much research. There are some things you should not skimp on, and permanent make up is one of them. This review is for the consultation only (which was unprofessional and a major red flag. So I will make sure Theresa never touches my face. I had a consultation for lip permanent make-up with Theresa the other day. I went there after work with my makeup still on, but I brought wipes to show her how my lips look like without lipstick/makeup. When I entered her "office" she was busy running around and doing stuff, then she suddenly approached me and asked if I had a history of cold sores. I answered it in the negative and she mentioned that if I had cold sores she wouldn't want to tattoo my lips. Then she turned on the TV and told me to watch a 10-minute long info video about her business. Mind you, I was still next to the entrance in the waiting room, unsure whether to take a seat there or not. It started to feel like a Harold Pinter scenario. After I had watched the video, Theresa handed over a blue "goodie bag" filled with flyers and business cards. She made a few notes on her chart, mentioned the price for the procedure and was about to get rid of me. So I quickly asked a few questions which she didn't answer properly. Instead she rambled about weird stuff. Then I told her about my specific goals for my permanent make-up and thought she would want to see me without lipstick before giving advice. But instead she just recommended a generic line of action. This whole conversation happened in the waiting room (with other people coming and leaving) with me sitting on a chair and Theresa standing next to me. Everything felt totally off and unprofessional. Furthermore, Theresa is quite unfriendly and I don't think she understood what I want (well, she didn't even ask about my expectations and concerns). Conclusion, I would never take the risk and get any treatment with her! PS: Theresa's reply to my review just proves my point. She not only imputes dubious "health issues" to me, but also claims to know that my area of concern is resolved (how can she know without even looking at me?). Besides the fact that any detail about a client's health is confidential patient information, I am amazed that she is willingly publishing such information and doesn't worry about her trustworthiness. But all that aside, the consultation was just extremely unprofessional. Even if you don't want to treat a customer/patient, the consultation should be respectful, customized and professional. Usually a serious doctor/provider does also explain patiently and in detail why someone is not a candidate for a certain treatment.... Absolutely LOVE that I can wake up in the morning and be out-the-door beautiful in minutes, all thanks to Theresa!!! She is hands down the best permanent makeup artist in the Las Vegas valley and beyond. Believe me I know, as I researched for many hours and consulted with several other purported "professionals" before finally (thankfully) choosing Theresa Garcia. During my initial consultation appointment (which was free) Theresa spent nearly an hour explaining the permanent makeup process, her carefully crafted, precision method (which she has honed over many, many years), the Made in USA water-based inks she uses (as opposed to cheaper/imported inks, which contain metals and can be damaging/unsightly), her professional artist background, and how she utilizes color theory to match one's own, unique coloring with the proper pigments required in order to bring about the desired finished effect. Theresa explained how important it is to also take into account one's own skin coloring, that rose pigment on a light-skinned person will look completely different on a darker skinned person. Also "warm" complexions and "cool" complexions must be accounted for when mixing inks. (Theresa, by the way, is one of the few artists who mixes her own inks; most others use inks straight from the tube. A definite no-no she says.) Theresa is the original inventor of the "3d eyebrow," which is the most natural-looking--NOT the hideous tattooed eyebrows of the past. Theresa's technique uses very soft, powder finish blending, with a few individual hair strokes for the most natural look--a look that only Theresa offers. My own brows are naturally full, so I was unsure whether I would benefit from enhancement. But after seeing Theresa's portfolio of work, I knew I was definitely "in"!! Now that she has completed my brows, I don't know how I ever lived without them! It's true what they say, that your eyebrows frame your face, and even though I wasn't lacking hair volume, it was Theresa's expertly applied shaping and finishing that completed my amazing new look. All very natural, not harsh or overdone. But the difference is undeniable, very classy and polished (Thank You, Theresa!!). Besides the amazing brow work, I had upper eyeliner and lower lash "enhancement," which is a very thin "smudging" of color inside the lower lash line, so it doesn't look harsh or overdone. My lips, too, were perfectly enhanced, and Theresa spent a great deal of time perfecting the actual agreed-upon "shape" before beginning her work. (Theresa always draws on, or lets you draw on, and approve, any shape before actually beginning her work...this is after all your face, and she wants to be sure it's done right, exactly the way YOU want it.) Theresa does a "natural-blended lip line," NOT yesterday's too-harsh line that you sometimes still see people wearing. She also offers a "full, blended lip" which means the color is carried over the full lip for a very natural finished look. (Great for women in their 50's--like me--who have lost some lip color and definition over the years.) Theresa is well-known and highly regarded for the natural look she is famous for achieving. Theresa's clients are always beautifully enhanced, but NEVER garish, harsh, or crazy-looking. Theresa uses only the highest, medical-grade numbing cream, and gives it plenty of time to work before ever touching your face. This eliminates nearly 100% of any pain one might associate with permanent makeup application--if you have your work done by Theresa. Should you find yourself in another permanent makeup artist's chair, beware!!! the worst experience !!! Very unprofessional and left permanent scars. Went there about two years ago and I am very upset Cuz I still see the red scars around my eye brows. First, she didn't deliver the shapes I wanted initially. I called her but she said we'll discuss how we r gonna make changes once I come back to the place. but when I got there, she just went ahead and removed more than half of the brows. I Thought she was gonna stop in the middle and ask my opinion but she totally ignored me , because she was on the phone talking to someone else, while I was on the chair waiting!!!! She was supposed to ask me what I want?! she offered me to remove the tattoo with saline water to make changes. If she was listening to what I requested initially, we didn't need all this unnecessary procedure. The procedure itself was horrible. It was like getting new tattoos with saline water. I was very worried if that would leave scars and she assured that it wouldn't. But how come I still see the huge red marks around my eyebrows after two years??? I can not go out without putting on makeup. Besides She didn't even apply numbing cream properly since it was "free" service, of course it was very painful procedure without the numbing cream. I had my first appointment last week for my 3D Permanent Eyebrows and just WOW! I over plucked throughout my teen years and had no shape with barely any hair left by the time I was 22. After reading reviews I decided to visit Theresa and just 7 days since my first appointment it is seriously life changing! Theresa made sure that my application was painless and constantly checked to see if I was comfortable. The procedure itself didn't take very long and I only experienced slight swelling. I don't like doing reviews and honestly it's one of my first negative one but I need to share my experience so you know what to look for and ask for to make sure you don't go through what I did and AM currently trying to fix. At first I was completely impressed with my first session and touch up. My brow shape came out impeccable and color was close to my shadow i used daily. After about seven months I could tell they were a bit gray and made my touch up apt. I let her know that my brows were a bit of a gray shade and she said it was an easy fix. Well she used a pigment that is now several months later PINK. After contacting Theresa several times (and her cancelling and blowing me off more than three times after I was ALREADY at her place) I decided to go somewhere else to fix her mistakes. Being several hundred dollars more into painful removal I just want you to make sure that the color being applied is going to turn out to the color you want. Please note I'm being extremely PC and the only reason I am doing this review is because of how she treated me and my family several times. The response I will get from this post from her won't matter because i know how blatantly we were disrespected due to me asking her to fix a mistake. Just know she can do a good job of she is in the right mood and mindset but make sure you ask for the color that you usually wear and tell her what colors you DO NOT like. I cried when I left her office (eye brows were uneven and a horrible shape.) I waited until they healed and I was still mortified, covering up her work with makeup. I tried emailing her 3 times over the course of a month and to my disappointment, no response. She is connected with Steve Miller, the plastic surgeon, not sure I would bother with either, if this is the level of customer service you receive when you are completely dissatisfied and unhappy, especially regarding expensive personal procedures. I'm writing this because of the absolutely HORRIBLE level of customer service I received from Theresa. Let me first start by saying she has a 24 hour canceling policy. I unfortunately had to reschedule my appointment before reaching the 24 hour limit. However, I soon realized I had plans for the date I rescheduled for. I called back almost immediately, explained the situation to the person who answered and asked if I could just have my original appointment back. She confirmed over the phone that I was able to get my original appointment back, and sent me a text message confirming the same. No big deal, right?! Read on! I arrived for my scheduled appointment only to be told by Theresa, that I wasn't in the system. She absolutely could not take me because that appointment was filled. Now, don't get me wrong, I've been in the customer service industry for a very long time, and I'll be the first to admit the customer is NOT always right. However I was able to not only give her the name of the person I spoke with but also provide her with the text confirming the re-booking. You'd think after realizing I had ample proof that this was not my doing, and rather an error made by the company, rectifying the situation would be a priority. Instead, she not only felt it necessary to speak negatively of the person I spoke with over the phone, and threaten to suspend her because she "had it with her" (in my opinion what goes on between employees should never be the customers business,) she also had the AUDACITY to say, and repeat over and over that it was either, she inconvenience me, or inconvenience 7 other people. I was appalled by the lack of Theresa's professionalism! When I stated so, she actually told me she's crass, but at least she's honest! In this type of situation the employee should work on rectifying the situation, not pointing fingers for the sake of "honesty!" Typically, the level of disrespect I endured would just cause me to walk out and tell my friends (most of whom also get their eyebrows tattooed) to stay away from her. However, I paid $445.00 IN FULL for what was supposed to be 3 sessions, on the first visit. Also, this was only the second session, and the ink she used on the first session was way too dark for my skin tone. I was looking forward to this session in hopes that she would be able to lighten what was done on the first session. After some more verbal exchanges, and me witnessing her roll her eyes as I spoke, she finally said she could fit me in during her lunch time. Wow! FINALLY an attempt at a resolution! A weak attempt, considering she stated more than once how it would cut into her lunch hour, nonetheless, an attempt. Because I didn't want to be completely screwed out of the money I spent I would have taken the slot, but I had prior obligations at that time. After a lot of arguing we finally decided on a time for the day after. (Of course inconveniencing me and not taking into consideration the near hour long drive I would have to make.) I was so upset, I left in tears. 15 minutes after I left Theresa called me. SUPPOSEDLY she told the customer who took my appointment about the situation and the customer offered to give me her spot. (Another possible solution that should have been done at the beginning of this whole mess!) As much as I didn't believe that story (I think either the customer was a no show, or, there never was another customer, and it was just a glitch in her "stellar" computer system) I just wanted to get this session done and over with. She did a lightening treatment to lift the darker pigment. However my eyebrows are still too dark. After that experience, I've decided not to continue my final service with Theresa, and am out the money I paid. I don't mind paying extra for some products because I do believe you get what you pay for. However, I feel completely cheated on this situation, and will now be a little weary of paying for something in full, upfront! read more

Can't express how happy I am with my 3D permanent eyebrows by Theresa! The ease of waking up knowing I have these beautiful babies in place is amazing!!! All 3 sessions total around $450. Well worth the price. I'll be honest, she tries her best to make it as painless as possible, but yes ladies it still hurts. For those who have already been tattooed, it is more bearable. But first timers be cautious. And ladies follow thru with your appointments in a timely manner. All 3 sessions are a must! Enjoy! :) read more

I had some thyroid issues and lost my once full eyebrows. That coupled with really bad wax jobs caused a permanent lopsided look to my face. I went to see if I was a good candidate for eyebrow permanent make up application. As I waited I heard a conversation between Teresa and another customer. She was honest and telling her that what she desired as far as design for her eyebrows would not look right with her face. I immediately knew I was in the right place. Teresa is blunt and honest and as harsh as that may seem while she works on you it's your face and I came to appreciate it. My brows look Amazing now! Theresa is an amazing person all around!! She's caring, patient, and just a pleasure to be around. Most importantly of all, I can trust her with my face! I was a nervous wreck the first time I went to her. She took her time to address every concern and made feel comfortable. I I had a negative experience. I paid for 3D brow service. After the first appointment the color faded almost totally. She blamed me saying I didn't follow instructions. Second appointment a totally different procedure she didn't bother explaining until i questioned her. Again, pigment didn't hold. The third appointment she left me sitting in the waiting room for 45 min after applying numbing agent to brows with only comment being "how dark do you want to go".When asked about needed pigment that faded she said she couldn't see it due to some excuse about lighting or glasses .I finally left after being ignored for 45 min.
