If you're going to use them for a divorce, please know they'll charge you a flat fee for "everything up to trial", but they'll ask the judge immediately for that trial, never trying to come to a positive resolution outside of that trial. Then right before your hearing....they'll file a motion to withdraw to shake you down for more money in the 11th hour when you're fighting for your children. They see you as nothing but a dollar sign. Please file a formal complaint against this firm with the Nevada bar association, and the American bar association. First, every court date they sent a new attorney that knew nothing about the case and came minutes before hand, unprepared and you are not prepped. They promised after each court date and each phone call that once they received the video footage they would set an appointment to review the footage together. That never happened and then on top of that they said oh you won't win a case like that and told him to take a deal! WHAT THE HECK! That's why we hired you to fight it! They do not care. They talked him into the deal (I was not present!) and he later regretted it and they lied about all the details of the deal as well. They stated there was a one time fee associated with his mandatory class and so on, but it turned out that its a fee per class each week! I just had my Fee Dispute Mediation with Nevada Defense Group and it was settled in the sense that they are to stop sending me harassing invoices after they had agreed to dismiss the $2500.00 dollar balance they knew they were not entitled too. Also, in the settlement agreement they are to provide me with an itemized invoice to the charges for the remaining $500.00 dollars (downpayment) I paid them. Now one would say you got no monetary benefit out of this mediation. That is correct, however, there is more than one way to skin a cat mama said. If they receive more than two of these disputes within a certain time frame (I think its a calendar year) and I do believe this is a practice they engaging in frequently they will be tagged by the Nevada Bar Association and investigated for unethical practices. So, if you are caught in their web, STRIKE A MATCH! And please beware of flat-fee contracts, they can be misleading. Hope his is helpful!! read more

These guys are nothing but crooks. After giving Damian sheets $3500 for my child custody case he had me talk to someone who he says was a lawyer for 45 minutes. When she told me there was no chance of winning I asked for them not to work on the case and to charge me a consultation fee or what ever they do and refund the rest of my money. After more than two years I've had no response at all. Then I found out that he turned me in to the credit reporting agencies for not paying the other $500 of the $4000 he wanted to do the case. He stole $3500 from me and did nothing. He's nothing but a corrupt crook that takes advantage of people that are going through the hardest time of their life. This firm was supposed to be handling a case for a relative of mine. They were relentless in getting their $3599 retainer, and after that we heard nothing. They said they would go to court about the case. I find out later they never went to court. I made a big mistake thinking they would handle things. The relative was basically homeless. A rude lady called me for a payment and was VERY rude and overtalking me. Even laughing when I was trying to explain my situation with my disabled son. I filed for a divorce back in March 2021 , it is now November 2021 and the finalized documents are still not complete. This is absurd! No kids , all properties have been divided, and all debt divided accordingly prior to filing. 6500 is their rate for a clean sweep since she is out of state.
