My son has been going to this daycare since he was 18 months old - he is now about to head to junior kindergarten and I'm kind of heartbroken. We switched him over to Network from UofT Child Care, which I'm told is an excellent daycare and which we loved. While the facilities are definitely better at UofT, you also pay substantially for them (and we didn't qualify for subsidy).
At first, I was not too impressed with the "church basement" aspect of this particular Network Centre, but the workers at this daycare are awesome. The kids come from extremely diverse backgrounds, both culturally and socioeconomically, so my son gets exposed to a lot of different influences, which I like for him. He loves his "teachers" there, and they've saved our bacon a bunch of times - particularly with respect to toilet training (I swear, they did all the heavy lifting in that department!). If the posted menu is accurate, the food is also surprisingly good, so I don't worry too much about the fact that all he wants to eat at home is pasta and pizza, since I know he's getting a good lunch at Network. read more
