You don't need to look elsewhere. Call Dave. I want to add. Dave has many clients but treats you like you are the only one. He emailed me with immediate responses. Great communication. Hal's employee Jennifer emailed me an estate planning questionnaire to fill out, and then we scheduled an initial consultation in person with Hal. Hal has been an attorney since 1987. His law firm focuses on estate and elder law. My first impression of Hal was that he was a really nice guy, and I felt comfortable talking with him about my family, finances, and health. He was very understanding and non-judgmental about my wanting to disinherit certain family members, and he was very helpful in recommending primary and backup people to serve as my husband's and my beneficiaries, executors, trustees, attorneys-in-fact, and healthcare powers of attorney. Hal drafted the documents and mailed them to me for my review. I changed my mind about certain family members, and I appreciated that he and his paralegal made the changes that I requested. In mid-May, my husband and I visited Hal's office again to sign the final documents. Then Hal had the documents notorized, and he mailed us the original and copied documents. I reviewed the final documents and found no errors. I feel very relieved that my and my husband's finances and health will be handled according to our wishes. The total fee was $475.

We were under the auspices that our questions would be confidential. Less than a couple hours later, we got word from another heir to the same estate that our conversation with the office staff of Jacques & Jacques were indeed not confidential. After complaining to the law firm, our concerns were brushed under the rug in my opinion. Upon further explanation, attorney Charles John Jacques III stated: "I do not owe you a duty of confidentiality." We did not select this law firm to represent the estate for which my children are a part of. If you value your privacy and/or confidentiality, then stay clear from this blabbermouth lawfirm of Jacques & Jacques, P.C. there in Natrona Heights, PA would be my very sincere advice to anyone in need of an estate lawyer.

This company was appointed as the closing company for the sale of my home, and they were HORRIBLE…read more Not only did they not explain any of the paperwork, but they pushed a 3rd party company they used to satisfy any outstanding mortgages on the home, then escrowed an additional amount to use for the services without my consent. I had to fight and fight and fight to get my money, doing all their work. The entire staff is rude, incompetent, and overall awful to work with. I don't recomend using them for any needs, they were not truthful, forthcoming, or helpful throughout any part of my closing.
