Neptune taxi is the worst car service I've ever used. I live in new York city and travel frequently, and have never experienced such poor service. I called for pick up service from a local hotel. They arrived with in 5 minutes, but with another passenger. The mini van was sputtering and barely running. Not to mention we were dressed for a wedding, there was a heat wave and he wouldn't turn on the AC. We were instructed to get in on the other side because the passenger side door was broken. We told the driver we were going to The Breakers in spring lake. He told us he needed exact change because he just started his shift. He took us to the Berkely in Asbury and insisted it was our stop. Upon clarifying that it was the wrong location he tried to charge us more. At this point, the gackling women (presumably a prostitute) in the back decided she was getting out. The driver told us had to stop for gas and would need our fair to pay for the tank. At this point we were several miles out of the way from our reception and late. The driver proceeded to speed and disregard several pedestrian cross walks on the pedestrian heavy ocean ave, as well as irradically pass several cars in a no passing zone, sometimes head on into traffic!. I was certain if we didn't die, someone else would. Do yourself a favor and NEVER USE NEPTUNE TAXI!!! Awful service. Junk cars. Untimely travel. Dangerous ignorant drivers. read more
