I only had a chance to sample the dessert and have a coffee, but I came away very happy with both. Between living in Seattle and spending a lot of time in Melbourne, I've gotten used to damn good coffee, and coming to Gdynia used to be an unwelcome trip into a coffee wasteland. But no more... between this place and others like Główna Osobowa and Mikroklimat, there's good coffee to be had that does not have me resorting to Starbucks.
The dessert was lovely -- a zabaglione with baked plums and ginger-type cracker on top, garnished with a couple of seasonal bits of green, which I was told is a type of sorrel. Added a nice visual touch to the meal. I'll have to come back and do a full dinner there sometime. read more
