Yellow Curry Vegetables
Terianne S.

Small neighborhood Chinese restaurant. The service is always excellent and delivery quick. Food is always fresh and delicious. Their Pepper Steak and Curry Vegetables are both outstanding. Personally, not a fan of their chicken dishes as they are not heavy in sauce and chicken always seems fatty. Best sweet and sour sauce in the area!

Always clean. Customer service is excellent and Sylvia will go out of her way to make it right if you feel it is not. My order is always correct and hot.

Orange chicken lunch special

This place is my go-to whenever I'm craving Chinese food. It's kind of like a Panda Express, but 10 times better and they have more authentic Chinese food. My favorite plate is their Orange Chicken lunch special. I prefer getting the lunch plate which comes with orange chicken, fried rice, and an egg roll. Plenty of food, it comes out fast, and it's delicious. The chicken has real orange peels so it adds a nice tangy taste to it. I love coming here because it's so close to where I work, and it's an affordable and fast meal.

Good food and Good quality. Have many choices and fresh to order. Only thing is price is a bit high due to smaller portions..

A small little Chinese kitchen. It can get packed when it is during lunch time. But the food and service are great and wonderful.

I ordered a shrimp egg role. Absolutely horrible. Doughy and tough. Maybe I'll try the dishes instead of appetizer with better luck.

Everything 10/10! - Food…read more - Service - Staff - Environment Every time we go it's always a great experience

Came because the Yelp reviews but I can't say I was blown away and will be back any time soon…read more Walked in on a Saturday night, the place wasn't crowded and we got seated quickly. We were asked about our drinks, ordered them and a dozen raw oysters. Server came back and took our order. Got the snow crabs with potato and sausage with the house seasoning that the server recommended. Also got 2 pounds of shrimp (paid extra for heads off) and the server made it seem like the heat level on the hottest was ghost pepper, next level up being habanero and then hot. Asked if we could sample the sauce and told no as they make each one individually. Being weary of blowing our tongues out we opted for less heat. Oysters came and they were a decent size. I had to ask for some crackers & horse radish, which what was brought to me was way more than one person would ever consume (no charge). Food came and I'm waiting on a bucket to toss my shells in. Finally had to ask and I was told that most people just put it on the table hence the tables being covered. The sauce on my crab was WAY too sweet. The heat level was too mild and the crab itself was hard to get out the shell. I asked for some melted butter and was told I would be charged for it. Overall I left still wanting more which isn't my usual. However I can say been there done that.

A family favorite here!…read more The campechana here does not skimp out on meat! Always our go-to here as it tastes wonderful. Mesquite grilled oysters and the red fish on the half shell were great with their feature special adding crab meat on top of it. Very fresh and nicely prepared. For the pie, I wasn't expecting such a huge slice this time around but it was good. I think the crust is the most lacking part unfortunately. Perhaps this slice was a older piece but it tasted a bit stale from what I remember previous times Overall a great spot to go to for fresh seafood. Staff is very attentive and friendly. I really, really, really hate writing this review and it has taken me quite a while to get it…read morecompleted. I like to write honest reviews and the reason why this one is so hard is because if I went on service alone, it would be at least 4 to 5 stars. But most of my reviews are about the food, and because of that, the best I could do is 2 stars. I do also want to mention the atmosphere. When we entered the strong fish smell was off putting. It was very strong, so bad that I should have left after the smell almost pushed me back out of the door. But I've been here before and it wasn't bad, and I was really craving some seafood to, I ignored that smell. For appetizers we ordered Shrimp Empanadas Crispy pastries packed with our classic shrimp and creole vegetables. They were eh. I mean, I ate one and that was really all I could do. My friend ate the other ones. For dinner I ordered red fish. It was NOT good at all. Had a strong fishy flavor that I don't like at all. I also didn't eat that. After having such a bad dinner experience we decided to go else where for dessert, and I am glad that we did. I would love for this to be a great seafood place because its close to me. But they've never really impressed me, and this last visit was the worst one.

Inside it's a nice restaurant with an upscale feel to it. I ordered a house salad for $9 to start and the Pasta Rosa entree for another $28. The salad arrived first with a generous amount of romaine lettuce with diced tomatoes, cucumber, shredded carrots and chopped eggs on top. With my chosen ranch dressing it was a good tasting salad. The Pasta Rosa dish had sliced Parmesan strips on top of penne with shrimp, crawfish and sausage for the protein with mushrooms and a tomato cream sauce. This meal initially tricked me. My first impression was that while there was plenty of protein the taste of the tomato cream sauce was lacking some flavor. I expected more. However as I kept eating and getting beyond the top layer of the food the flavor increased significantly. I think that the proteins caused the sauce in the lower half of the dish to create more punch. This dish got better and better and I changed my mind. It turned out to be a very good tasting and filling meal. Finally the table service was very good too. P.S. I also tried part of another appetizer which was the bar b q shrimp for $16. They were tasty. I like Rouxpour and would return. My only negative is that their prices are a little on the high side in my opinion.

The design details, from the rustic beams and large-scale vases to the pretty dishes and comfy stylish chairs, Latuli knocks it out of the park for ambiance. The servers were equally impressive: attentive, warm, welcoming, and very considerate. And the food? OUTSTANDING. Most of the passed appetizers were delicious. We both thought the one we didn't prefer (carrot) had too much lemon. The bread service was lovely as well. The remaining four courses were truly stellar... crawfish toast was savory and complex. The fish course was fresh and bright. The Wagyu was impossibly velvety tender and seasoned beautifully. The showstopper Baked Alaska was an over-the-top ending - sweet, creamy, and delicious - to a truly remarkable evening. Bravo! I had actually never heard of Latuli prior to this event, and, based on our experience, I will definitely be back.
