After months and months of waiting for a h IRS to respond we received a letter stating she indicated on the forms incorrect information and it had to be amended. She supposedly sent the amended return 3 times but could not provide any confirmation to us that she did. Finally when I spoke to an IRS rep they stated the reason there has been no update is that the numbers did not match our original return and the examiner had to disregard our paperwork. We have had an outstanding balance with the IRS which in 2023 she advised not to pay while we wait for the amended return to be accepted. We are now in collections had and have threatened leins from the IRS. We now have a new CPA who has to refile our amended return because it was done so incorrectly. Multiple areas of the form the were input wrong. GO FIND ANOTHER LICENSED CPA to help. Meanwhile we have to PAY the new cpa again to do all of this after actax happily took our money to do everything wrong.

I hired Mark to help clean up some work left behind by a previous accountant. Unfortunately, the experience ended up being just as disappointing--if not worse. During what was supposed to be an active and ongoing engagement, Mark became completely unresponsive. This was especially concerning given that he had access to both my personal financial information and business accounts. There were no status updates, no clear next steps, and no transparency around the progress of the work. After months of emailing and calling Mark with no response, I asked my husband to reach out. He finally made contact with Mark and he acknowledged that he was overwhelmed and had not been handling things professionally after being completely unresponsive for months. When it comes to something as important and sensitive as personal and business accounting, communication and reliability are essential. Unfortunately, this experience lacked both. I would not recommend working with Mark and would encourage others to seek an accountant who communicates clearly and operates with a higher level of professionalism and accountability.

They called us on the very last day for filing April 14,2016 since the month we handed over our documents on February, "hard to believe right"? We kept calling every week to request status and the excuse was always "we are working on it" or they would have questions that unless we called they would not ask, while on the phone. They are so irresponsible we will never request their services again, we felt ripped off completely! To make matters worse, 3 months after filing we receive a letter from the IRS that we needed to re-send a missing form that later we learned this company failed to file, ending up having to pay to file late and penalties. This company is the worse!
