Lorna 2 reviews Edited 4 hours ago New If I could give negative stars I would. Will never allow another family member to go here. Elderly mother fell hit head, took her to ER. She had brain bleed which was stopped in ICU, she was up walking and talking in ICU. Once they moved her to private room, care deteriorated rapidly, she has been there 7 days with very little nutrition norbiv fluids, she is so weak now she cannot get up on her own and cannot understand much. We have asked several times to speak with her hospitalist, but he is a surgeon and no one can tell us when he will come by the room and he will not call us, we have been here both early in morningsthen he comes late afternoon, if we come afternoon, he has alreadybeen there. We haven't gotten to speak to him in 7 days. We have no idea what his plan of action is or what is going on. The hospital had her chart wrong, said she had dementia (she does not, was driving and playing bridge 3 days prior to fall) her chart said she was a type 2 diabetic (she is not, never has been). We are going totry and have her moved to another hospital or unfortunately she may be coming home on hospice thanks all to this horrible hospital. BEWARE, if you cannot be with your loved one 24/7 they are forgotten about. Adding on to review from 3 days ago. We are taking her home because we can care for her better at home than the piss poor care she is getting here. She was scheduled for an ambulance to take her home, an hour and a half away. However when we got to hospital we were told tha physical therapy changed her status to "ambulatory" because he was able to put her in a chair and she sat up for 5 minutes. Therefore insurance won't pay for ambulance.. cost out of pocket is 2,000 we are going to pay it to get her out of here before they succeed in killing her. Neither the case manager, floor supervisor couldn't change it back. She is unable to sit in a chair for more than 5 minutes and they expect her to ride in a car for an hour and a half. We can't get in touch with her hospitalist because he is in surgery. He is the same doctor that we couldn't get to call us back. He has abruptly taken her off all her blood thinners and seizure medication. We are hoping we can get her home before they kill her. BEWARE of this hospital.

IF I could give a ZERO (0) I would. My husband went to the emergency room and his experience was…read moreRIDICULOUS! The nursing staff walk out SHOUTING your last or first name. They should all become MILITARY DRILL SERGEANTS! They were Loud, Rude, Showing how COMPASSION and they call themselves NURSES in our American HEALTHCARE system! The word healthcare should have some meaning. Stay away from this place at all cost. Go to an urgent care or some other hospital that care about you as a patient. My husband arrived at 1015am on 6/17/24 and he was discharged without seeing the doctor at 705pm. Yes, I said he never saw the doctor for a FINAL DIAGNOSIS. His lab and scan results were never DISCUSSED. NOPE his labs and scans according to the nurse who didn't even know how to put an IV in his arm. He went for the scan and came back with another IV in his arm... SMH.! We are definitely seeking legal advice. The doctor that eventually saw my husband around 415pm in the evening walked into his observation room with MAJOR ATTITUDE. My husband asked him if he had looked at his lab work and he said "no, I don't need to look at that right now." He said he had just got to work.... SO tell me, who ordered the lab work... a CNA, LPN, RN... anybody! Who's standing at the cash register ringing up the charges for 2 rounds of lab draws. This emergency room is TOTALLY out of control. My blood was BOILING watching how the nurses and doctors were so OUT OF TOUCH with the feelings, needs and concern for the sick patients who were in their care. Baptist use to be the standard for nursing care... now they are SUB-STANDARD!!!! How can you discharge a patient who has not had a final consult by a license, trained physician? Now let's talk about the facility itself. It was DIRTY... the floors, chairs and especially the equipment. There was crude everywhere. The room that my husband was in wasn't actually connected to the ER. We walked down a few hallways and were led to an area that look like it was an after-thought... or maybe overflow for those patients that were not actually in cardiac arrest or involved in a fatality on that day. My questions.... 1) Who's running the TITANIC of a ship? 2) Why does it take 8.5 hours for treatment with NO RESULTS other than go see your PRIMARY CARE PHYSICIAN? 3) Should we contact the attorney general for mal-treatment or medical mal-practice? 4) Who ordered ALL of the lab test that my husband had? This place needs better administration. From the front door to the back hall way that apparently is staffed by new grads who aren't properly trained. I pray we NEVER have to visit this place EVER AGAIN! As I departed through the back door of the ER... The only time I saw the nurses with smiles on their faces was when they were all leaving with their lunch bags on their shoulders and purses in their hands as they departed the ER because it was the end of her/his shift!!! Dear God in Heaven... don't let either one of us have to come back to this place if we ever get sick in the future!
