Even though this is my credit union, there are some issues that I have found that I do not like…read moreabout it. For one thing if you put a cash deposit in their drop box they hold it for more than a week! Who would have thought they would do that with CASH? Then they charge you a $20. no-bounce fee for a $1.67 payment from the account where they were holding that money. Makes no sense to me! When we opened our account there I did not like the way I am treated like an outsider because we can't both be the primary account holders on our checking account. Whatever happened to couples that had joint accounts and were equal? I feel it is a way to force me to have to put extra money in their credit union since we have to have separate accounts. I do not like that one bit! I also did not like the way the teller told me I should use the debit/credit card as credit as much as possible as it does not cost me any more. It does cost the stores more though. She did not tell me that but I already knew it. So she was trying to get more fees for the credit union. I would not recommend it for anyone to use Visions after all these issues I have with them. This is the second credit union I have been nickeled and dimed to death with!

God, what a great Customer Service - the staff used to go out of their way to make your day. But I guess sometime about a year ago, all that changed when Visions Federal Credit Union acquired the Paragon FCU. Unfortunately, I was traveling out of country for a long period of time and I was not staying on top of this bank account. Gosh... nothing is really free at this credit union. I was stuck with fees left and right and I have already lost hundreds of dollars in my accounts. For example, they deduct eight dollars from each of my accounts every month as the balance is below 1000. The earlier staff, if there was some charge and had I told them that I was not aware of the policy change they would have gladly credited me the money. But now, please don't even get me started - the customer service sucks big time. Anyways, long story short - it was a no brainer to realize that this credit union it will never be a win-win situation. I have decided to forgo the money that they took from me, close my account and move on. If you are considering banking with them you can consider yourself forewarned.

I had more money than you can imagine in my account... Way-way more than what is coved by federal insurance. My other account was a "slush fund" for my ex-wife, I told them, she is irresponsible with money, I need overdraft protection. This was before official divorce so they ran my name through a credit report and denied me. I said, look, it's clear I have money to cover it, please do something! They are a do nothing but steal your money bank. I had charges illegally on there... They told me until I paid them their over draft fee they were not going to help me What did I do? I took out my gobs of money, what did they do? Tried to kiss my butt is what they attempted to do, which only made me angerier. Here I asked them for legitimate help, to make sure my ex's account didn't incur unnessisary fees, to investigate and stop certain auto payments.... And not until I went in, sat down, and transferred the money into another bank did they care to be nice. Screw this bank! Thieves! Oh, one last note, there was a blond woman who sat in a desk, pretty, she was the rudest and most unhelpful person. I had to go over her head once to get basic service. When I went to the main branch and complained they apologized, but this lady is a power hungry bag! Eventually I think she became a manager of a sort.. So they rewarded her! She should have been fired.
