Chuck has arranged five trips to Walla Walla to visit the wineries for me, my family and friends. Each time prior to arriving I notice the brown hills have disappeared and replaced with manacured rows of grapes or hops. Also the town, and surrounding towns, have an incredible increase in wineries and excellent restaurants. It's best to plan your visits to the wineries with a map in hand so you can utilize your time. Some wineries require reservations and others don't. Chuck always chose great ones for us and in most cases made reservations. All we visited not only had great wines but terrific designed tasting rooms. One with Chahuli glass throughout and another in a refurbished factory with antique Indian and Harley Davidson motorcycles. After a day of wineries, he always chose a wonderful place for dinner.
