They don't have burgers... regularly, the Owner bases his menu on what's available locally. This is second establishment, the "fun" one. The name is based after an old german fairy tale in honor of his daughter. His other restaurant is very fancy and very good. I liked the schnitzel better at Fritz's honestly. This one was a little too fancy. My friends had a chicken dish and a pasta dish. Everything was delicious though. It's been so long... they serve some eco/enviro friendly bottled water that gives back to charity or something. I thought that was really great. And they have some delicious soda brand I can't remember, but it is awesome. The owner and the servers spoke English, but please be nice and at least say Danke. I say that the attire is dressy, but they take all comers. You just look a little out of place in the typical American comic book t-shirt and torn blue jeans.

But it is quite an old fashioned approach and menu. They play it safe and try to be a bit of an upscale joint - and there is nothing wrong with that. What I would wish for them is to be more modern. Have some local beers, have some more exciting stuff on the menu.

On arrival, what a nice sunny day it was, we decided to sit outside first for some drink on the beautifull terras, this turned out to be the first mistake, it took 20 minutes before the drinks arrived! To long. When we finally decided to go upstairs for our dinner at 8:15pm it took them 30 minutes to get our orders. Not minding some time to talk by the time we ordered we had been talking for 1hour and 15 minutes. It took the kitchen another 45 minutes to get our meals to the tables. The dinner was not up to scratch, the steak was over done and dry. It had clearly been sitting somewhere to long. It was a very disappointing experience!
