I decided to take a walk over to Friedrichschain and check out Blumenladen Blattwerk. It was a beautiful day, and the florist was sitting outside at the cafe next door. When she saw I was interested she came in to the store, and I explained that I needed some flowers for my host. She put together a beautiful summer bouquet, and we talked a bit about the weather and the neighborhood. Overall it was a great experience, and if I ever need flowers again, I'd definitely go back.

Very cute gift shop with gifts from all over the world, each item has a price tag that also lists…read moreits town/country of origin. The shop owner was very friendly, I got some unique gifts to bring back from my time in Berlin.
