Nattrip is an agency, operator, and DMC specializing in adventure tourism in Brazil. Many of the products we sell are our own operations, some are joint operations, and others are managed by partner operators. Regarding our own operations in Brazil, we work with regularity, quick response, and compliance with ISO-21101 (Safety Management Systems) in all tours. Nattrip's Group Leaders are also professional tour guides, and our expeditions offer remote satellite monitoring supported by Spot. In line with these values, it is our mission to ensure that suppliers worldwide are compatible.
We are members of ACTA, ABETA, and more recently ATTA. Nattrip is a company that was created from scratch, without any capital investment. Since 2010, it has grown through hard work and sacrifice. We have never compromised on ethics and the values we carry with us. Our team today consists of 15 people, all young mountaineers, some of whom are very experienced with various significant accomplishments in their careers.
History
Established in 2010.
The year 2010 marked the beginning of a challenging journey in the creation of Nattrip. Access to ecological and adventure tourism was limited, especially in Rio de Janeiro. There were also strict restrictions on public use of existing Conservation Units, which was somewhat contrary to global trends. While other countries were creating policies to increase visitation to protected areas with the aim of promoting preservation, using the premise "know to protect," Brazil believed that restricting access was the best way to protect.
Thanks to the relentless work of some conservation, tourism, and sports entities, as well as certain levels of public authority, this premise gradually began to change, allowing for a greater offering of experiences in natural environments. We understood that people, needed specialized tours and services to engage in activities these locations offer.
