I don't know where to begin I don't know where to begin. My…read moreboyfriend was in Italy and bought me a $2,300 purse at the Max Mara boutique in Ferrara in 10/18. It was beautiful and had always been a Louis girl so I was excited to have an Italian purse. Within 3 months the purse developed white spots on the hair which looked like bleach. Also, the handles actually had the leather wearing off on the inside where it rubs on each other. I knew it had a we stand behind our quality product. So I starting emailing Italy which at first were blatantly ignored. Then corporate customer servcie asked for pictures and receipts which I supplied. The answer was that I got the leather handle wet so they couldn't stand behind the purse. Nothing about the hair falling off the purse creating white areas. So I contacted US Max Mara and Hannah tried to help. After NUMEROUS calls and emails I finally got an email from Italy saying I can drive the purse to Palm Beach or Miami and they'd be able to help me. Now I made them aware that I live on the Gulf beach from Tampa which would be a 5 to 8 hour drive one way. I asked them to issue a call tag and give me credit to get a full leather purse that wouldn't fall apart. The answer I got back from Italy was that there wasn't anything they could do to further assist me. When this started after 2 months we tired to dispute it with AmX but it was over 60 days so it couldn't be disputed. So we've filed an insurance claim since we have a platinum card and hopefully they'll be able to get our money back and I can buy a new Louis. I've had one for over 11 years and I had one strap restitched. Now that's quality. Max Mara has inferior products and non existent customer service. STAY AWAY FROM THEIR EURO TRASH CRAP!
