We didn't actually make it to the visitors center while in Natchez, but I did call them for information and recommendations and the sweet & friendly woman who I spoke with provided some swell southern hospitality and great information that added to our trip. read more

The docent was as nice as she could be. She shared all about the Natchez Trace Parkway and gave us a delightful lunch recommendation. BTW the Natchez Trace Parkway was delightful. read more

" Our 1st Stop Was At The Visitor Center " On or Cruise up the Mississippi River we stopped in Natchez where we went to the Visitor Reception Center to get some Historical back ground about Natchez Mississippi. The Staff was very nice, and answered all of our questions. We watched some films, looked at many pictures, and read about all of the historical places we could stop and see in the city. The visitor center had great clean rest rooms, and plenty of parking for visitors. This is definitely the 1st place you want to visit on your trip to Natchez, Mississippi. read more

On my way to visiting historical sites in Natchez my boyfriend and I stopped in. They have a cute little shop and tons of history to read here. There are a ton of brochures for things to do in the town. The staff is quite helpful and it's nice that they have free water and coffee for guests. This place is clean and beautiful, probably one of the nicest Viator centers I've ever been too and I usually love to stop into visitors centers when I go to new states and historic towns. There is plenty of parking and well worth a stop in on your way to seeing the plantation homes in the area. read more

We were in Natchez, MS for two days while on our way to my son and families in Azle, Texas. We didn't know a thing about Natchez or the attractions so we stopped at The Visitor Center. Natchez Visitor Center - Great helpful staff inside - Visitor Centers Near Me - Natchez, Mississippi

We stopped here on our way from New Orleans to Monroe, LA. Natchez is a cute and quaint city; and the Visitor Center was a great way to learn more about it. They have great storyboards, a 3-D model of the Mississippi, along with the history of the city and the area. Gift shop was nice, the staff were super friendly, and the view from the back is gorgeous. Stop by if you need to stretch your legs and walk around, AND to learn some history! Can't wait to go back to Natchez and check more out! read more

March 2017 - We were with a tour group and we chose to stop here first and glad we did. Good movie and history of area. Great timeline on the wall. Some artifacts. Gift shop, bathrooms and...people to ask questions to. They have plenty of handouts on what to do and where to go and the staff is very helpful. Easy parking and a good jumping off point. Learn about the French Fort that has almost disappeared and the Natchez Trail. read more
