Two years ago, my family got into a huge car accident. (We're okay now, in case you care.)…read more In any case, my neck got massively misaligned, partially from the car accident (I was in the back of the car sandwich) and partly due to a gymnastics accident from the year before. You know that 's'-shaped curve you should have? My neck was apparently -26 degrees in the other direction, which would explain the severe headaches I would get (I thought it was just stress). Anyway, since our insurance was covering out medical bills (the people that hit us = illegal immigrants, so uh...yeah), and I had to go back to school, I looked up the chiropractors in Davis and came up with this one. I think I mainly picked it because I had a schedule of hell (I was taking 8 classes, I think?), so it was most accessible (by bus, since my bike wasn't working yet). I don't know how much it was exactly, but I think the prices were pretty reasonable. In any case, I'm glad I did. Ray is awesome. He'd talk to me about American Idol and my classes and such while he cracked my neck back into place, and his wife (Caren) would give me a follow-up half-hour massage. They always remembered my name (the receptionist was very friendly as well). Excellent service. I never had to wait long, and they were very understanding of my schedule. I haven't had a headache ever since. :] It was worth it to get up at unearthly hours to chase after buses.
